PERSONALITY cassius is always, /always/ bubbling with laughter and cracking ridiculous jokes and throwing out random cheesy pick up lines that he finds on the internet whenever he's especially bored. cas flirts, and he does so a lot, but he's pretty harmless. if he sees a person is uncomfortable with it, he'll of course stop, but with friends he's hard to control. he is pretty clumsy and stumbles over his feet quite often, and his body is often littered with random bruises that he couldn't even begin to tell you where they'd come from and how he'd got them. too many trips and falls happen for him to pinpoint each to bruise to a specific fall. cassius is also a bit unorganized, but he finds it better for himself when things are a tad bit messy, especially if it's his desk at home. he hates when people try to clean up after him, as he's not a slob, just a little bit... all over the place with his items. cassius absolutely loves talking to the people at the bar he works at, loves hearing about their day or why a certain drink is their favorite. he's always good with customers and always gets extra tips (some of them come from the weird pervs that ogle him for a bit too long but, eh, a tip's a tip).
BACKGROUND cassius has only ever known his dad, as his mom had just never been a part of his life at all. he doesn't know why or when in his life she left, but he's always told himself that it's better that way, because it hurts less than how it would've hurt if she left him in his teenage years when he had an actual relationship with the woman. his family- his dad and his older sister- did not have the luxuries of extra money; they only had money for what they needed and that's it. no buying toys on a whim because they wanted one. and if they did have extra money, it always went towards necessities, even if their dad heavily suggested picking out a toy or a coloring book. although this one time, even when his sister had told him not to, he picked out a toy racing car and has kept it with him forever (it sits on his cluttered desk, away from all the clutter). so yeah, they never knew what having a nice, but house felt like, as they lived in a trailer until they could afford a tiny apartment with two bedrooms. now, he's a bit successful and lives in an apartment- one that's bigger than what he'd lived in with his dad and sister. and he's proud of himself for working hard and making enough money so that he could afford more than just necessities.

ADDITIONAL FACTS he has a sleeve of tattoos that all mean something to him, and he's got three lobe piercings and a double helix piercing. his dad didn't approve of them at all when he first got them, but his dad has slowly grown to like how they look.
when he first came to the realization that he only liked men, he felt like he couldn't even talk to his sister about it, even though they told each other everything. for the first year of him being gay, he didn't come out to anybody, but when he felt comfortable enough he sat down his close friends and family and told them all collectively.
despite working at a bar, he's not that big of a drinker. sure, he occasionally drinks but he's not one to get blackout drunk on a whim. he'll either have a few drinks or he'll just offer to be the designated driver if he's not in a drinking mood at all. the only time you'll see him down drink after drink is if he's really upset about something.
he love, love, loves to be cuddled. even if he's taller than someone, he'll demand to be the smaller spoon because, even if he gives off bad boy vibes, he's actually just a big baby that loves to flirt and be cuddled. he loves attention and being taken care of.

ANGST SCENARIO ONE when you heard knocking on your door at almost three in the morning, you never expected to open it up to a sobbing and wrecked cassius. the eye makeup he always seemed to wear to work was smudged and messy, the tear tracks down his face colored dark blue from his eyeshadow and eyeliner mixing together. you immediately ushered him in and sat him on the couch, urging him to tell you what had happened. "one of the customers caught me outside the bathroom on my break and decided to... get a little aggressive," he whispered, holding out his wrists which now had red bruises from where somebody's hands had obviously been holding him tight.
ANGST SCENARIO TWO come up with one!
FLUFF SCENARIO ONE it was cassius' birthday and you decided to surprise him with a trip to the racing tracks where he would be seeing one of his favorite racers. before getting in the car, you had blindfolded him ( and rolled your eyes when he mumbled, "ooh, kinky" ) so he wouldn't have any idea of where you were taking him. he was a little annoying in the car, but it was somewhat endearing, especially as he wore a big smile. upon arrival, you parked as close as you could and untied the blindfold from around his eyes. after rubbing at his eyes and finally seeing where he was, he gasped and turned to you, tugging you into a right hug, his face pressed against your shoulder.
