The Last Time...

Chapter 1;

I'm Maddie Pierce and I'm gonna die. Alright I know that's a bad way to start my life story...Today's my 16th birthday and today's what they say will be my last surgery, something I've been being told so many times since I was 12 so all my hope had been silenced and eventually murdered.

But actually I do want this to be the end of my fight against cancer...

Tomorrow is reaping day which means I have to choose where I want to spend my life what group of people I want to be surrounded by

It reminds me oh high school....the populars are the leaders but everyone calls them the populars because apparently they think they are so cool and that's like the take it easy part of our options.

There is also a part of the town designated to the sick and injured if I choose that I'm stuck there even when I get cured.

Then the fighters who always try to win and care only about there selfs kind of like a mean security guard.

Of coarse the sports who do everything from dance to karate to soccer they are all just really active.

That's all but I've heard they are adding a new one this year for rebels I won't pick that one because I can't...

I walk into the hospital room where they prep me for surgery and when I wake up I see a tall lady standing over me saying "you can't go tonight" I forgot what tonight is then I remember tonight is the night we take a test on life to see what we should pic she says to me " your not normal we have discovered your immortal we don't know how but you have some type of power...

I lay still my eyes drift off and I fall asleep...
