I wake up to an annoying buzzing sound. I groan and look over at the clock. 7:30 am. If you can't tell already, I am NOT a morning person. I get out of bed and trudge my closet. I pull out a Pierce The Veil t-shirt, skinny jeans, and my vans. I go into the bathroom to shower and get dressed. The hot water helps me relax and wake up a bit. I get out and quickly change. I decide to add some makeup, so I put on lipstick, eyeshadow, and mascara. Most people judge me by my appearence. I have spider bite piercings on my lip and my hair is black with blue streaks. But I don't care. I love the way I look. I pick up my phone to see what time it is. 8:30 am. Crap. Today I start my first day of work at a music store down the street. It was the best job I could get since everywhere else people gave me strange looks when they saw me. I know I don't care but I'd rather not have people stare at me while I work. Besides I like playing the guitar, so I would rather work somewhere I love. I don't have a lot of money to get myself a really nice guitar, but I can dream. I grab my phone, my headphones, and head out the door. I turn on Stay Away From My Friends. After awhile, I come across the music store and walk inside. The smell of the intsruments makes me smile. The store isn't open yet, which is good so I'll have time to get mentally prepared. I take out my headphones and listen to the music out loud. On the counter, I notice a note: I won't be able to work today due to family emergencies. Please run the shop until I get back. Well great, it's my first day and I already have to run the place. I look at my phone to see the time. 9:00 am. I go to the door and unlock it for customers to come in. I notic a really cool guitar sitting on a stand. I grab it, sit down on a stool, and begin to play. I sing the acoustic version of Carapherneilia.

          Sunshine,

There ain't a thing that you can do that's gonna ruin my night,

         (But there's just something about),

This dizzy dreamer and her bleeding little blue boy,

Lickin' your fingers like your done and you've decided there is so much more then me,

        Oh,

And baby honestly it's harder breathin' next to you,

        I shake,

I brought a gun and as the preacher tried to stop me,

Hold my heart it's beating for you anyway-

"Your a really good singer." I spin around startled by the voice behind me. I don't belive it. Jaime Preciado.

"Sorry if I startled you." he says.

  "N-no it's fine." I stammer.. I sound like a fucking idiot.

"Your Jaime from Pierce The Veil." was all I managed to say.

"Yep, and who might you be."

"Alex. Hey umm are you gonne buy something, sorry if it sounds like I'm being rude. But my boss is out and I am stuck running the place. I would like him to think I actually did work instead of playing the guitar all day."

"It's fine. I am looking for a new guitar, do you mind showing me where they are?"

"Sure. What type electric or acoustic?"

"Acoustic." I direct him over to the acoustic guitars.

"By the way, Fender is a good brand and they arn't expensive. I'm sure you probably knew that already though." I tell him.

"Actually that was the brand I was looking for."

"So where did you learn to play like that?" he ask.

"I taught myself how to play. When I was little my mom had a guitar and- "

"Jaime we have been waiting forever. What is taking you so long?" I look over at the door to see Vic Fuentes. I can't believe this happening.

"Sorry I was talking to Alex." Vic glances over at me and I stare at my feet blushing. He walks over to me.

  "Hi I'm Vic."

"I know. I am a fan of Pierce the Veil."

"I can tell, nice shirt by the way."

"Thanks. So did you find a guitar you like?" I look at Jaime who is holding a black guitar in is hands.

"Yep." He hands it to me and I walk over to the counter. He pays and I hand it back to him. I can feel Vic's eyes look at my piercings, cause me to blush madly.

"Thanks." I grab my phone to check for messages, but Vic grabs it from me.

  "What are you doing?"

"Giving you my number so we can hang out."

"Okay." He gives me my phone back and they walk outside. I continue with the rest of my workday thinking about them.

...................                                                                             As I close up the store, my phone rings. It's my boss.

"Alex, I am sorry I wasn't able to make it today. My wife and daughter were both sick and I had to stay behind and take care of them and- "

"It's fine. I didn't have any problems with anyone." I don't mention Vic and Jaime coming into the store.

"Well that's good to hear. Hey, I have to go hopefully I can be there tomorrow."

  "Ok. Bye."

"Bye." I put my headphones in my ears and listen to some music. I haven't had anything to eat today, so I walk around to look for a place to eat. I walk inside some frozen yogurt store. I get chocolate and vanilla with sprinkles on top. I sit down and pull out my phone. One missed call from my mom. What the hell does she want? I haven't heard from her in almost three years. I ignore the call and go on instagram. It only has drawings and p.t.v pictures and collages I made. I quickly finish up and head home.
