Knock, Knock, Knock. Ugh. Who the hell could that be? I look at the clock. 11:30 am. It's way too early for this. I climb out of bed to get the door. I brush my hair a little, just to make myself look a little decent. I open the door. It's Vic.

"Sorry I didn't realize you would be sleeping." he says.

"It's fine. You can come in I guess." I like hanging around Vic and the band. It just feels a little weird though.

"So...what brings you here?" I ask.

"I was curious to know what you were up to today. I don't really have much to do and the guys were starting to bug me."

"I am not doing anything, if you want to get something to eat."

  "Sure."

"Okay, I'll be write back, just going to get changed." I walk to my closet and think about what I want to wear. I settle for a blue tank top, some black skinny jeans, and my black converse. I go into the bathroom and put on some mascara and lipstick. I brush my hair, then I go to the living room to get Vic.

  "Wow...nice outfit."

"Thanks. So, where do you want to go?"

"There is a diner down the street, I think you might like. We could go there and get some pizza?"

"Okay. Let's go." We get into his car and drive to the diner. Once we get there, we pick a table and order some pizza and two sprites. We talk about random things while we wait, but there is one thing that has been on my mind I want to ask.

  "Vic?"

  "Hmm?"

"When Mike said you thought I was pretty, was that umm true?" He looks at me and hesitates before he responds.

  "Yes."

"Oh." I look down at the table and draw figures in the wood with my finger. We finish the pizza in an awkward silence. I have never had anyone tell me I was pretty. I check my phone to see the time. 12:15 pm.

"Do you want to hang out at my place or go to the hotel and do stuff?"

"Your place we can go to the hotel anytime." He leaves the money on the table and we walk out. We drive back to my house in silence. In the driveway, I see a man leaning against a car.

"Do you know him?" Vic asks.

  "I think...I think that's my dad."

"Dad?" I say as I exit the car.

"Alex. Wow look at you, you've...grown."

"You could have called, but then again you never do." My voice is hard. He takes a deep sigh.

"Look, I know I made a mistake but can a dad want to see his duaghter after a long time?"

"You never wanted to see me any other time." I forgot Vic was atnding next to me until he put his hand on my shoulder. He probably wants me to calm down. My hands are clenched into tight fist.

"I know but, I...I was looking at some old photos and I saw a picture of you. And I thought to myself, will I ever get to see that beautiful smile of my daughter ever again? That's when I knew I had to see you. I feel like an idiot after deciding now to see you and it has been a long time.  But I had to see that smile, and right now I am not getting to see it." Tears are streaming down my face. Not out of sadness, out of anger.

"14 years dad. It took you 14 damn years to realize you wanted to see me. I think your a little too late. How could you leave us or me even? You didn't even defend me when mom called me an unwanted child. You left me there just to be ignored by her! How could you?! If you want to see some girl's beautiful smile, go look for someone else. Because you won't get it from me." I look at his hurt face after I said those words. Tears continue to come out.

"Sir I think you should leave." Vic says. I want to say something along the lines of that but I am too angry and it probably won't come out that nice.

"I don't know who you are, but I am her father and you can't tell me to-"

"Dad...I think you should leave too."

  "Alex please-"

"Leave." He stares at me before getting into his car. Guilt rushes over me but I ignore it. He deserved it.

"Vic I'm sorry." He pulls me into a hug.

  "Why are you sorry?"

"I don't know." I cry harder into his shirt.

"Don't cry." He pulls me back to wipe the tears away from my face. Just like he did yesterday.

  "Can we go inside now?"

"Sure." He chuckles. We go inside and sit down on the couch. We don't speak, but the silence is almost like out conversation.

"I didn't know he would react like that. So calm and collected, except when he started getting mad at you. I guess you can pretty much figure out my life. Not very proud of it though." I say. he deosn't respond back. I lay my head on his shoulder. I want to stay like this. Next to him. Forever.

Okay, so I know that chapter was short. I hope you liked it though. I was freaking out when I saw that photo :D Later
