"Jess, Shadow! Wait up!"
A young woman with a blue hoodie, emerald eyes and black hair turned around to face her childhood friend who had fallen behind. She then sighed and crossed her arms with a smirk on her face. Meanwhile, the other member of the group simply laughed and kept going, as he usually did. Eventually the young blonde that had called out caught up to Jess, panting heavily.
"You all know I can't run up that fast." He panted, holding his spread out knees as he attempted catching his breath. He then looked to the girl, who only shook her head and chuckled.
"What? If we're gonna make it to the new Star Wars film you wanted us to go to so badly, we gotta move quickly." She replied, "Besides, you know Shadow won't listen. He's always gone off on his own, anyway." After a second, Simon agreed and the two walked the rest of the way to the movie. "The Force Awakens" has just premiered last night, and Simon didn't want to hear all the spoilers before going there to see it himself. He decided to drag his two friends, Jessica and Shadow, along with him. After a while of persuading, Jess eventually gave in to Simon, and came with him.
"We're almost there!" Simon screeched, "This is so exciting!"
"I don't understand why you'd be excited about this. What's so special about it?" Jessica asked, quite not understanding her friend's exhilaration.
"This is the first Star Wars Movie in 10 years!" He exclaimed.
"What about that animated movie of Star Wars that came out 7 years ago?"
"That was for the Clone Wars TV show. It wasn't one of the main story movies, like Episodes I—VI were." Simon explained, to which Jessica pretended to understand. Finally, the theater was in sight.
"There it is." Jessica announced, "We're almost there, Simon." She looked to her friend, who practically had stars shining in his eyes from excitement. He soon began sprinting towards the theater, leaving Jess behind with a trail of wind.
"'Can't run fast' my ass." She said to herself with a smile as she began to run after him. Her long, blackish-blue hair flowed out as the wind carried it through Jess' sprint. Once they reached the theater, Shadow came out with three readied tickets for the movie.
"Best hurry before we lose a chance to sit together." He commented as he handed the two their tickets and walked off, with his two friends walking after him. When they reached the theater, however, it was completely packed. However, this didn't necessarily surprise them, since it was a Star Wars movie. The other people in the theater were dressed as characters, or had Star Wars accessories, like a lightsaber. Simon had come prepared with his Boba Fett costume he owned, helmet and all.
"Simon, you're such a fanboy." Jess teased with a laugh.
"What? It's Star Wars." Simon replied defensively, which gave Jess and Shadow a laugh. They found a convenient opening of three seats, and sat down. Simon started drinking the lemonade Shadow had bought for him.
The lights dimmed down, and the theater screen turned black. A green outline of the "Lucasfilms inc." logo faded into, and then out of the screen. The crowd cheered in excitement. After a few seconds, blue text appeared on the screen. "A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far, away..."
The screen started playing the iconic music of the Star Wars theme, with the iconic yellow text scrolling through the screen, filling in the audience of what has happened throughout the time in between the last episode and now.
The movie began.

The movie had ended, and the crowd started to get up and leave, some in excitement or satisfaction, others in disappointment or tears. Jess and Shadow got up from their seats, only to notice that Simon was still sitting.
"Simon, come on. The movie's over." Jess told him, but there was no response.
"Simon, I don't think the MCU and Star Wars universes are crossing over. There's not going to be a post credit scene." Shadow added, only to be met by the same silence.
"Simon?" Jess asked concerned. She took off the helmet to see him asleep. Shadow cocked an eyebrow.
"Why would Simon go to sleep from a Star Wars movie?" Shadow asked.
"Maybe he's just tired?" She suggested. Shadow shook his head.
"No... He isn't one to skip sleep at all." Shadow replied, leaving the two at a stump.
"We're probably overthinking it, Shadow. Let's just go home." Jess said as she started to walk away. Shadow sighed and picked up the Mandalorian cosplaying blonde, and followed after the girl. He then noticed something that immediately set him into panic mode.
Simon wasn't breathing.
"Jess. Call the ambulance." Shadow said sternly. She turned around confused.
"What?"
"Call the ambulance. Now." He ordered. She looked at him confused before doing as he asked.
"What's this about?" She asked him.
"Simon hasn't been breathing."
