Nineteen: Mine

Mina POV

I woke up in a different place from where I slept the other night. I looked around and I saw Chaeng's arms around me, we fell asleep in a tent.

I glanced at her adorably sleeping right in front of me. Her face only a centimeter away.

I recalled what happened last night just moments before we slept. Chaeng and I had confessed our feelings for each other and I'm officially her... girlfriend.

And she's mine. I feel like I'm on cloud nine knowing that Son Chaeyoung is now mine and mine only. It's the only thing I've desired for the past weeks, and she made it happen in the most romantic setting.

I could get up right now but I could just stare at my girlfriend for the next hour or so.

I give her a small kiss on the nose and I whispered the words "I love you." I can finally say the words to her whenever I want to.

"I love you too.", I heard a reply back.

"You're awake?!", I said in shock. She opened her eyes just now. Still a little bit groggy.

"Yeah, I didn't want to interrupt your staring session.", she smiled at me.

She took a peek at the time. "Oh shit, we should probably go back to the suite."

"Awww, but I wanna spend more time with you alooone.", I pouted.

"I know you do. We'll do that more when we get back home.", she crawled outside the tent and I followed. 

On the way back to the suite we walked, our hands intertwined together.

We get to the door and Chaeng suddenly stopped on her tracks.

"Something wrong?", I asked.

"Do we umm, tell them?", she asked me, obviously talking about how we're all official now. Ahh shit, I can't help but just smile at the thought.

"Yah! Don't just smile at me!", Chaeng shouted at me, but not loud enough for the others to hear inside.

"Oh uhhh, let's keep it between us for now.", I decided to keep it a secret for now and just surprise the other 7 later on.

She nodded and she reached her hand out to open the door.

The first thing we saw is Momo right beside Dahyun, caressing her back. Sana follows with a cup of tea in her hands. She handed it over to Dahyun and goes to sit beside snow white right there

Wow, looks like Dahyun got drunk as hell. I don't see Tzuyu and Rosé anywhere so I guess they're still sleeping.

Chaeng sat on a chair and she's immediately attacked by Sana and Momo with questions. I think I even caught a glimpse of Dahyun asking her stuff too.

That girl probably planned the whole meteor shower thing with the rest. Aghh, she's an angel.

I should go make something for her. I left her to answer Sana and Momo's questions while I cooked something in the kitchen.

Admittedly, I've been watching cooking videos in my free time. It all started with me wanting to learn how to make the perfect omelette for Chaeng.

I've gotten pretty good at making omelettes so I decided on making that. I took the ham, cheese and a variety of vegetables and I put the omelette on a plate once I'm done.

It feels like it's lacking something.

Oh, of course.

I grabbed a pair of strawberries from the pack of strawberries we bought while getting ingredients for food we'll be making this trip. I washed the strawberries and I placed them on the plate with the omelette.
