A day at park

It was a beautiful afternoon, might I say. We just had our lunch, at the moment we were cuddling on the couch talking about random stuff. I was lying on (c/n) and he leaning on the armrest, playing with my hair. 

"(C/nnnnnnnnnnnnn)..."

"Yes love?"

"I'm really bored... like really really bored."

"Hmm...now that's a problem how can I ever make my girl be in distress."

I giggled and asked, "okay so how are you gonna solve it?"

"Okay...movi-"

"We did that a day before."

"Games?"

"Yesterday."

"Ughhh...what then?"

"Hmm...park!"

"Park? Why you wanna go there?"

"Hehe, you'll see it's really fun out there."

"Okay then madam, lets go~"

We then got ready. I wore a normal white hoodie as it was still cold, and a leggings. (C/n) on other hand wore a loose shirt says that it was warm enough but after forcing him for the 100th times he wore a jacket. I double checked my money and keys and we went out.

The park wasn't very far from our place. The fresh air making me smile as I inhale it. Walking hand in hand with (c/n) in this beautiful weather was undoubtedly one of my favourite things. We started talking about random stuff again and soon we reached the park. 

As we know my childishness got the best of me. First went went to the slides. (C/n) sat behind me and we slid down for just a couple seconds and great news! I fell flat on my face. (C/n) was laughing like he saw some clown making face at him. Begrudgingly I stood up as he helped me up. I then as a counter attack made my special move. Tickles.

I chased after him. After running a bit he hid away in the place full of trees but not like as much as forest. I saw him peeking out and I went for him, laughing and chasing him we reached the baseball field. We looked around no one was there surprisingly. (C/n) then saw a slope after a couple meters  away. The slope was pretty cool, not so crazy but not so safe. We found some slates and (c/n) sat on one and I got one for myself. 

We positioned ourselves and....GO! The chilly wind hit our face we squealed and got there at the same time! I demanded a rematch. Then I was pretty confident about it ... until (c/n) won! We did that for more 3 times and was tired of it.

Again hand in hand we went to the kids part of the park. We saw some kids playing with others, some mom sitting on bench, some talking. A casual comfortable evening. We went to the sand part. And I made a mountain. Lol classic and he made a ball. See? How much of a genius people we are!? (Note the sarcasm) . We saw a kid playing by himself on the slide. We looked at each other and nodded. 

We creeped up behind the boy. "Heya!"

"Wah!" He yelled. 

(C/n) said, "Don't worry buddy, we won't hurt you. We were feeling a bit lonely so... can you play with us?"

"Oh..um..sure!"

"Great! But first, tell me your name!"

"Um...i'm Charlie..."

"Okay charlie! I will go first!"

I placed myself on the slide and as I slid down i fell face flat. Again. Charlie and (c/n) started to slaughter again. I stood up and (c/n) helped me, but this time I didn't feel any anger. I just looked at their face and smiled. He and Charlie went for some rounds and we heard a woman calling.

"Charlie! You okay? Who are these?"

"Mommy! Oh this is (y/n) and this is (c/n), they were playing with me!" Charlie said pointing at us.

"Oh thank you so much lads! I wish I could repay you for spending your time for him."

"What are you saying ma'am! We were just playing, nothing big." 

(C/n) said, "He is welcome to play with us any time, it's our pleasure."

"Oh you lads, thank you so much! We gotta go now charlie."

"Oh..okay mommy."

"Bye charlie! See you soon" we chirped, and so his gloomy face lit up and he bid farewell. 

We went back to our spot and bought us some drinks as we stood over the bridge on the lake. 

"Hey, (y/n)?"

"Mhm?"

"I think... I fell for you deep today." I was taken a back for a second but I smiled in return and said,

"I think I did too." He smiled.

Some minutes of comfortable silence past. I started,

"Charlie was so sweet and mature, wasn't he?"

"Yeah, he was fun. And judging from his mother's apron, she probably is a doctor, yes?"

"Yeah probably. Maybe he spends a lot of time alone. Poor child."

"Y'know (y/n) what I thought when we were playing together?"

"Yeah?"

"We would become great parents...haha"

I looked at him surprised... taking a sip from my drink. I smiled wider than ever. I hugged him tight.

"You made me dream something that I never thought I'd want. Now take responsibility for it... you can't break my dream~"

His face gleamed and he kissed me, "never, sweetheart".

And with that we went home hand in hand smiling like a pair of idiots that we were.
