My bedroom
As I was watching Television, he walked in, I acknowledged and greeted him
There was a special program tributed to the upcoming Mother's Day, it featured a lot of celebrity moms , when he took his seat he observed me watching the show,but then again my mother came out of her room to welcome him,and it hit me .....I had forgotten to stir the pot of beans that was cooking and being a normal Nigerian mother she was, my mother immediately scolded me for being forgetful and threatened to ban me from watching tv,literally blowing the matter out of proportion , meanwhile the Mother's Day show had finished and another had begun while I was in the kitchen with my mum,he had decided to remain seated in the living room
I walked past where he was seated and proceeded unto my room to go and tidy up a little bit , in the process of cleaning my very disorganised room my mum walked in, she then asked me "What sort of immoral program where you watching?". "What is that nonsense ehh". I tried explaining myself by saying "mummy I was watching a Mother's Day show".
She just hissed a left out my room , I felt hurt that she didn't believe me so I decided to go and reassure her and so I headed to the living area of my house I then approached her and told her " mummy why don't you believe me , I promise I wasn't watching what ever it is that you are angry that I'm watching, I don't even know the name of that movie streaming now". Not paying any mind to what I said she walked dramatically into the kitchen,she didn't even act like I was stood before her a moment ago
I looked over to see him suppressing his laughter , I was pissed in fact that's the understatement of the century
He knew I was saying the truth and he knew I wasn't at fault but his intentions were always to make us drift apart, and now I'm currently pissed by what's going on and what's happened so far .

Still in my bedroom

To me time was flying by to slowly today, I was laid up on my bed soo bored outta mind , worst part is Mommy Dearest had taken my phone and iPad because she felt communication is highly distracting and the things on my phone are even more of a distraction than any gadget at home , I don't bother arguing with her about anything anymore
She's probably right as always note the sarcasm, thankfully I have a mini sound system in my room that keeps me occupied and makes me drift away from the clutches of boredom,she complains that I listen to music too much but i don't really care music is my getaway and i cam say with pride that i have a very nice voice
