Wings of War - The Hidden World

~ Chapter 6 - Dusk (BlueHorns) ~

Their cage was placed into a shallow cave, filled with bones and eggs. The entrance shone a ray of light on a gruesome and large skeletons of dragons who have been decaying and withering here slowly. BlueHorns had his muzzle and wings chained up, IceDrift had the same but the BeamWings decided she wasn't as dangerous as BlueHorns. They scrambled around the cave, looking for a way out. Only if their wings weren't chained up, they could fly out of there and hide somewhere between the mountains or retreat back to their cave but that was impossible. IceDrift kicked the dirty shallow water at the base of the cave aimlessly while BlueHorns tried different methods to escape. Ever since he saw the village he had a urge to turn away and beat his wings as hard as he could, but that dragon. The little yellow one. Was it a trick? Will she actually save them? BlueHorns doubted that last thought although he had a ting of hope glowing inside of his stone cold heart.

The ray of light had vanished now and the stars arose into the pitch black sky ever so slowly, twinkling and flashing like the WiltWings ancestors, the SeaWings.
