Chapter-10 Confront

Bella POV

"Luke don't act like a kid, for God's sake." I said getting annoyed by his behaviour.

Yes, he has been ignoring me. Well, I hate getting a silent treatment.

This all started yesterday. After the fight with the rogues.

I stood with pride. Showing off my beautiful fur. The wind brushed through my fur.

"Bella?!" A familiar voice. I turned to see my mate watching me as his jaw dropped.

His eyes showed many emotions. One was utter shock.

Oh my God. God please save me!

Luke was watching me without blinking. Suddenly a rogue jumped towards Luke. I took a long jump and landed on the rogue and tore his throat. He fell limp on the ground.

Suddenly a warning howl was heard. The rogues disappeared into the woods. I turned and my eyes met Luke's. There was so many emotions running through it.

"Luke-" before I could complete he pulled me out of the woods towards the car.

We both got into the cars and went to home. The whole ride was silent.

We reached home but still nobody talked.

"Luke. "I called out for him. He turned and raised his eyebrow waiting for me to continue.

"Luke. I am really sorry. I tried to tell you about-" I continued.

"You must be tired. Just go and rest. We will talk later." He cut me. His voice came out cold. He turned and left.

I hurried back home to meet my very worried brother. I explained everything to him and went to sleep.

From today morning I have been trying to talk to him but he never listened to me.

I went straight to him and pulled his arm turning him to me.

"Luke, let's act like mature one's. Let's talk." I said almost pleadingly.

His eyes softened as he pulled me to a chair. He made me sit on his lap. I leaned my head on his chest listening to his heart beats.

"I am really sorry for not telling you this. I tried to tell to about me yesterday before the ceremony but you never listened to me." I said as my eyes fill with tears.

'Bella you can't cry in front of our mate' Amber said.

I wiped my eyes without him noticing me.

"Please tell me what are you? I want to know about you more than anyone." He said. His eyes showed hurt.

I straightened my body, getting ready to tell him the truth. My darkest secret.

"My name is Isabella Knights. " I said out loud and clear. My voice came out strong and fearless. His eyes widen as he heard my name.

"Your surname is Knights? Well, then why a rogues chasing you?" He said getting to the point.

"Because I am the golden wolf who is been chased by the Rogue King, Zelix."
I said lowering my voice.

'Will Luke accept us who we are?' Amber asked getting worried.

My body started shaking at that thought.
