Summer was ending and school was about to start, people were cramming as many parties as possible before it ended completely, unfortunately, I was not able to miss this one party. my best friend who said if I were to miss this party I would turn into the 'goody-two-shoes that everyone hates'. Having no choice but to go to this party I have to find something to wear.

"Ew, No! Why is that even in your closet?" Connor screeched.

"what, why, is something wrong with it?" I asked

" First of all its mustard yellow, and it's a maxi dress, you look like your going to church instead of a party!" Connor replied.

" fine, I have one more dress, but I hate it."

walking to my connected bathroom I stripped out of the yellow dress and put on this short lilac dress, how this dress ended up in my closet is not a surprise, Connor always tries to add some spice to my closet this being one. Looking over the dress in the full body mirror, it was not a bad dress, except it was backless and was short, short to when I put my arms down it ended at my wrist. Coming out of the restroom I showed Connor the dress.

" Oh my god look at you, you look so cute!"

" but It's so short!" I screeched while pulling down the dress"

" No it is not, here is a pair of shoes, lets a get a move on!" Connor said.

Upon arriving at the party I could hear the music and could see already drunk teenagers littering the lawn already. I was staying close to Connor when entering the house. I instantly go for the corner as I see a bunch of people making out. Parties are not my thing. I stood in the corner for what felt like hours but was more like thirty minutes Connor spots me in my hiding place he grabs my arm and tugs me to a room, it's quieter than out there. I the room there are two girls and three boys sitting in the room.

" Violet, meet some of my friends, that's Josh, Rebecca, Tyler, Sara, and  Levi," Connor Said while pointing at who was who.

Of course, Connor had to be friends with my crush that I had sense eight grade, who wouldn't? with Levi's looks and personality, it was hard not to crush on him, it did not help that Levi had the worlds largest ego's and on top of that he knew he had all the females at the school falling for him.

" This is boring, why don't we play a game of two truths and one lie, Violet you in?"Sara asked

I turned to Connor and silently gave him the "Should we" look, he replied with a nod of his head.

" Okay, Let's play," I told her.

" Tyler why don't you go first?" Rebecca asked him.

" Okay, um, I have a girlfriend, I have never seen an episode of Game of Thrones and I'm a B student," Said Tyler.

" The lie is the Game of Thrones, you have binged watched the entire series in two days," Sara told him.

Tyler nodded his head as saying you're correct."

as the game continued but was paused by Rebeccas outburst about eighth grade.

"Wait, your violet? the girl from eight grade that stocked Levi all the time and was super shy, that's you?" Rebecca asked me

" Yeah, it is why?" I asked her

" do you still have a crush on Levi?" she asked me.

I did not answer her question I kept my mouth shut and stood up,

" I do not have a crush on Levi,  I hate parties and I have a dog named Sandy."

" Sandy is a lie, I have never seen that dog at all when I come over," Connor answered

I sat down and as soon I did my phone started ringing I excused myself and left the house quickly and answered the phone

"hi"

"Hi, you need to come home it's late,"  my mother said

" Kay"

I left the party and Connor to find his way home as I drove home I thought how long I could keep the Lie, a Lie.
