We had to write a short story for english class. So... uh. Yea. Enjoy mf

"It's my birthday..." I say to myself as I get out of bed. I hate my birthday. It just never really appealed to me. I am going to have to pretend to feel... again. But, its not like its going to be as hard as it already is every day.

"Liya! Come to the kitchen!" I heard my mom bellow as I drowsily dragged my bed head out from under my blanket. I got up and slowly walked into the kitchen. My parents handed me something. A very small box. it had sparkly gold ribbon on the top and the box was a pitch black. The width had to be no largr than an inch. "Happy birthday." I heard my mom say as she gave me a gentle smiled. I faked my emotions and pretended to be pleasantly surprised.

"thanks mom." I said as I gave the fakest smile on the face of the earth. I opened the box and my heart skipped eight beats. What I saw in the box were car keys. My eyes were still adjusting due to the bright flash of the ceiling lights early in the morning but once they did, I screamed so loud I thought China could hear me. What I saw on the key was a brilliantly formed T. It's silver gleam blessing me with emotion. Excitement.

"woah... WOAH WOAH... wait..." I stuttered as I sprinted to the window viewing the front yard. What I saw was a shiny, brand new white Tesla waiting for me outside in the driveway. I could have sworn I almost passed out. I quickly slammed the door open and ran to my brand new car squealing. realizing my mistake, I pounced back inside to tell my parent something. "Thank you!" I practically screamed as I hugged them. I took hold of the keys and ran out the still open door. I unlocked it and got into the drivers seat. There was a self driving motion. The top of he car had a small radar and I checked out the speakers. The sound system was terrific. My house garage and the canyon next to it was the view from my brand new, shiny, beautiful car! I wouldn't mind driving anything as long as it had four wheels i was fine. Except, I would never complain about getting a Tesla..

I turned the self driving motion on and had it go to the park near my old middle school and back. It worked wonders. I paired the car with my phone so that the Bluetooth worked properly. I told my parents i was going to take it for a spin around the neighborhood and I was off. I put it in its self driving motion and I drove it myself for a little while. Everything was great. I was actually happy for once. I actually liked my birthday for the first time in forever. Everything was going my way on my sweet 16.

BANG! I pulled my car to a quick stop. In front of me, two cars had T crashed on a bus street. I watched horrified as I witnessed one car flip over and land on its top. Blood came pouring out of the window. I snatched my phone and quickly dialed 911. The person who didn't flip got out of the car and blacked out right there on the busy street. I told them the situation and gave them my location. They were there in minutes. The weird thing was, something like that had never happened in my neighborhood until I got this Tesla. And it was a T crash? Maybe I'm just thinking too much.

I quickly drove home after the swift investigation and questioning and my car began to glitch. The music was turned down low but I could hear the static and stutter. I brushed it off as just a malfunction until the self driving mode QUICKLY switched gear and took a sharp turn into a neighborhood I had never even seen before. I struggled to take it off. I tried to asses the situation and took a breath as I was battling for control over the wheel. "It's either me, or the car?" My mind tried to pull an understanding on everything. I finally gained control over the wheel and drove myself home mortified. I ran into the house and told my parents everything. I asked them where they got the car from anyways and for how much.

"Oh, we got it for 4,000 dollars in mint condition. The person we bought it from said they didn't want it at all anymore. We assumed it's because he lived in a shady area and couldn't put it in his garage." But, something wasn't right to me. Things didn't add up. Something didn't FEEL right about he whole situation. Four thousand measly dollars for a min condition Tesla? I took my parents for a drive and everything was fine. It didn't glitch, didn't stutter, didn't swerve... Nothing. My parents brushed it all off and called me crazy and went inside. The sound of the door making me accept my defeat. A few minutes later, I was trying to I understand what was the deal with my car, when I heard a stern voice come out of the speaker.

"One." It creepily said. It's voice sounded kind of raspy. It was deep, and dark, but also sounded robotic. Like the voices you hear in movies from the robotic evil villains. As cliche as it sounds, it really freaked me out. I decided to get rid of the car on my own. I contacted someone online, and sold it to them. I never saw that monstrosity of a car again.

Boring ending I knowwwwwww oighhhhh but it was for a class. *-*
