I was sat at my desk, drawing in blue. I was drawing a blue box. At the door, There was a man with a bow tie and a tweed. I drew this thousands and thousands of times. Oh, by the way, my name is Hannah Grace Auburn. I am an 18 year old girl who is in love with a man that only I think exists. Every day, since I was 6, I have dreamt of a man, a man named The Doctor. A lot of people thought I was weird, abnormal and all of that... Including my family. I don't know if I can even call them that any more. They never speak to me. They even avoid looking at me.

I eventually got bored in my room so I ran out to the garden, straight past my family who didn't even blink an eyelid at me, and sat on an upturned bucket. I stayed there. Looking up into the sky.

It was 10:00 pm and my family were in bed. They didn't care about me so I stayed outside. The stars were beautiful. Another one of my childish beliefs was that aliens are real. I think that if humans are real then why can't aliens be? I stared up into the starry lit night and thought about how many things were going on up there. How many aliens there are up in the sky.

Suddenly, something silver caught my eyes. A shooting star! I closed my eyes and wished, "I wish that the Doctor will come for me and I won't have to live the horrible life I live today" when I opened my eyes the sky was black. No stars no nothing. I blinked in confusion and when I looked up again. The stars reappeared. I convinced my self that I was imagining things and I dragged my feet all the way up to my self decorated room. I forced my self to go to sleep, once again, dreaming of the Doctor...

Next morning.

I woke up and stretched. I looked at my small clock and thought it was time to get up. I had a quick shower. Got dressed. Had a bit of toast and went back to my room. I started drawing again. Only when I looked up at my blackboard to see all the drawings of My Doctor, did I notice the date. It was September the 4th. My birthday. I was very rarely conscious of my birthday as it never got celebrated. My sister, Annabelle's, birthday always got celebrated. She two years younger than me but she never spoke to me.

At 11:00 I decided it was too quiet downstairs so I went to see if my family were home. My lounge was empty so I guessed they had gone out. My eyes caught the only picture I was allowed to have in the wall. A painting of the doctor I made last year. The rest of the lounge was Annabelle's drawings and stuff.

I was sat on the sofa. Listening to the sounds of the creaking of the floorboards. I muttered to myself, "the people upstairs are noisy." Then something in my mind clicked, 'there's no-one upstairs!' I thought. Normal people would have screamed and ran, but, as I had already proved, I was not a normal person. What was the point of being normal anyway? Who wants to be normal!

I crept silently up the stairs and saw my bedroom door slightly open. Someone was inside. I could hear a strange noise. Something clicked. Then buzzes, then a man with a bow tie and a brown/ grey tweed stepped out of my room. I was frozen in shock. He saw me at the stairs and froze. We stared at each other for awhile until he finally shook his head. He blinked then looked back at me. He then spoke,

"Hello!! Nice to meet you, what's your name?" he grinned and shook my hand as I said, "umm, Hannah. Are you the doctor?" he stopped grinning and looked momentarily shocked. He regained composure and plastered a smile on his face even though you could see the lines of worry cracking beneath his perfect mask. "Yes. I am. But how did you know?" he pondered.

"I dreamt about a man, named the doctor, who wears a bow tie and a tweed, since I was 6." I looked down a little embarrassed. He ignored my blush and said grinning again, "so, I guess you'll know all about the TARDIS?" He asked, pointing to the blue police box that was in the corner of my room. We were sat on the bed.

"I didn't know what it was called, but..." I finished by pointing at my blackboard witch had my drawing of the TARDIS on. He stood up and walked over to it. He smiled looking at the drawings. He stood with his back to me, finally, he turned around to look at me. He sat on my desk chair and watched me.

"Hannah, I am a Time Lord. I travel in between times and parallel, pocket universes. I don't get older. I just change. If I die I don't die, I regenerate. I change my face. Sometime I wish I could keep my face. Sometimes I am glad I can change it. For instance, My ears are too big. But the past regeneration of me would wear Sandshoes and he called them 'Converse'. He was a strange bloke. I think that's all you need to know about me, what about you?" He explained. I listened carefully. He was a time lord!! Wow! This man was cool. I didn't really know why he would want to know about me but I said anyway,

"Umm. I am just a strange normal human who has no friends. I also have a family who hates me. I think that's all about me" I finished looking away. He frowned. And said,

"That can't be right..." He stared at me for a minute then got up and took my hand. And pulled me up. He dragged me inside the TARDIS and I gasped. It was huge!

"Go on then. Say it. They all do" he said rolling his eyes. I then said,

"It's another dimension in another dimension!" My eyes were looking around whilst the doctor stood. Momentarily shocked. He turned around and pushed some buttons and pulled a leaver. The TARDIS shook and my knees gave way. Before I could hit the floor a bubble inclosed me in so I was floating. The TARDIS was humming and the doctor chuckled.

"The TARDIS likes you" he said with a smile. I smiled too and then got to my feet. We landed with another bump and then the doctor rushed to the doors and smiled. I frowned and poked my head out the door to. I froze. I knew this day well. This was the day when me being bullied first started. The doctor walked out and I quickly followed. I think he saw he hurt in my eyes when I looked at him because he said, "what's wrong Hannah?" I don't take my eyes off of the school before I said, "you'll see in a minute..." My eyes followed the 7 year old version of me running to the big black board that no one ever used. She got some chalk and started drawing mini TARDIS' all over the black board. When this was done she drew a bow tie. Then the black board was full and she started drawing on the ground. The doctor and I walked forward so we could see what was going on when a teacher came infront and said,

"You cannot come here" she said. She was my favourite teacher at school. She would listen to my story's and never questioned me. The doctor quickly held up his physic paper and I guess she saw that we were behaviour monitors because she said, "one child, Hannah Grace. She behaves very peculiarly." I frowned.

We were allowed to pass an we stood behind a tree watching. A boy, Billy, pushed the little me over and called me a Freak. Other kids joined in and I glanced up to the doctor. His eyes shows hurt.

"Can we leave?" I whispered, not wanting to watch anymore. He nodded as we walked back to the tardis not saying a word.
