Author's Note: Hello everyone! This is a fanfiction about the kpop group Monsta X. The conversations between the main character and the guys will be in English even though I am fully aware that not all of them are fluent in English in real life. I can write in Korean but not everyone will know what it means so to keep confusion at bay, I'll write in English. If I do decide to use a couple words in Korean , I will used the romanized version and will include what the word means.
Another note and one I hope everyone take with an open mind. I thought long and hard about this story and the audience I wanted to appeal to. at first , I thought my story would succeed more if I catered to people unlike me. cater to those who are seen as " acceptable " when it comes to kidols . Cater to those who were idols " ideal types " . But who actually knows ? I wanted to create something different . Something I could relate to and hopefully you can relate to as well , no matter your race. I have received a lot of negativity , a lot of backlash cause my main character doesn't have have pale skin or long straight hair . but neither do I. I'm full off melanin , curls and coils & I wouldn't change that for the world . So while you're reading my little story , hopefully you can bypass the hate , bypass the judgment & fall in love with these characters and this story , just as much as i did . happy reading , 감사합니다 ❣️
