Theme of Roses

Petals soft as fairy wings,

Elegance like regal kings,

Standing tall against the rain,

The appeal of many springs.

World of devotion and praise,

Promises within a gaze,

No question of what joy brings,

A rose, in which to amaze.

Ease the rugged edge of pain;

What does heartbreak have to gain?

Trust is lost from selfish ways;

Tear the petals, so inane.
