Skae

The blade leaves a long cut along his chest as it slides across his skin. The boy taking the blow lowers to one knee and the attacker stops.

"Skae, You okay?" The attacker asks, his hand outstretched and worry showing through his black eyes.

Skae grins through the pain and takes his trainee's hand, "Ha i'll live, Gerym." Skae grimaces as he is pulled to his feet. Gerym helps Skae over to the another shadow master, Odraz, who upon seeing the injured Skae, shakes his head in disgrace.

"You aren't supposed to kill your trainer, we need every Umatorea in fighting order," Odraz says to Gerym as he pulls up Skae's shirt. With no concern for Skae's pain Odraz uses his thumb to see how deep the cut is, "Yeah you might want to go down and get that tended to."

Gerym bows and the two turn to go. "What do you think you're doing? Skae can walk himself it isn't his leg. Gerym get back to training." Gerym bows again and releases his trainer giving him a second glance as he leaves.

"Oh don't be rude to the subordinates, he was trying to be helpful." Skae scolds Odraz.

"How did he get you anyways? You're supposed to be a master." Odraz asks condescendingly.

"I let him i'm tired of training, but don't tell Unkiy." Skae flashes a smile at his friend who now looks at Skae in admiration.

After leave the training grounds with as much dignity as possible, Skae inches along the long white marble halls to the medic three floors down. Upon his arrival, Skae is instantly met by one of the nurses; he stands about seven feet and two fifty of muscle. His deep gruff voice demands, "What do you need?"

"I got injured in training." Skae says showing his cut chest; he thinks to himself how feminine his voice sounds compared to this monster.

"Okay go back to the bathing chambers." The man points his sausage finger towards a doorway cut out of the marble wall.

Skae thanks the man but he just grumbles. Skae mumbles to himself as he enters the bathing chambers, "Asshole." Entering the chamber Skae is met by a large round tub sitting in a corner(which happens to also be carved out of marble) and a marble bench on the opposite side.

Skae strips down and admires first the cut then himself in the looking glass. His long black hair that comes down to shoulders, like all other Umatoreas, matches his black eyes. His feature are strong especially his chin, he puffs out his chest in arrogance which he instantly regrets. Even without the puffed chest he is still rather muscular and all six feet of him is as pale as a ghost.

After feeding his arrogance for a minute or two Skae decides it would be best to bathe. He clambers into the tall tub and slides into the water and instantly jumps back up when it hits his cut, "Damn that hurts!" Skae forces himself to settle back into the water. Biting his lip and holding back tears, he watches as shining tendrils spread up from the water and entwine themselves into his cut as it gradually closes.

After the cut heals Skae begins to relax and enjoy the warm, constantly flowing water when he hears a call from the hall, "I'm looking for Skae!"

"I'm in here!" Skae answers unaware of who is calling for him.

A beautiful girl with matching hair and eyes to Skae enters the chambers; the only color difference between the two is the girl's cheeks, which turn a deep red upon entering the room. Losing her professional composure the girl stumbles over her words.

Skae steps out of the tub doing nothing to cover himself; the girls entire face is red. He grabs a towel and begins to dry himself. "Well spit it out." Skae grins at the girl's uncomfortableness and walks towards her.

The girl regains her composure and tries again to speak, "Sorry sir, Unkiy requests you and the other masters in the Grand Hall." The girl's fights to show both respect by bowing her head and not looking down as Skae walks up a foot from her.

Skae takes the new clothes out of the girls hands, "Thanks. Tell him i will be up in a little."

"I'm sorry again but i've been told to escort you." The girl says taking a step back as Skae gets dressed.

"Huh i can't believe they sent a someone so young to babysit me." Skae says pulling on his jacket.

"I'm not your baby sitter sir, i'm your new apprentice."

"Oh well then i probably need to know your name." Skae says completely used to the flow of new apprentices and their beginning awkwardness, well maybe not this awkward.

"Oh sorry sir. I'm June."

"Nice to meet you June. I also have two more requests. Don't call me sir and don't come in on me when i'm bathing."

June blushes, "Sorry si... Sorry."

"It's okay well lets go see what this meeting is about." Skae leaves the chamber closely followed by his new apprentice.
