(Yes, the cat in this chapter is made up and named after Park Jimin, from BTS)

Since she was placed in Sasuke's care, and didn't listen to the Hokage when he was gone, she had to go with Sasuke on his silly missions. Today, they had to find a cat named Jimin. Of course, this cat was a natural outside cat, but hadn't been home in days, so they were sent out.

"I don't trust her.." Sakura grumbled, as she eyed the silver haired female who was just calmly walking, looking around a bit.
"Part of team work is trust Sakura." Kakashi spoke, though he didn't trust Naomi at all. But, he saw an attitude adjustment in Sasuke lately. Example: the other day when Tsunade was discussing how Naomi could end up being a spy, he got very defensive and was sent home before the mission could commence, making the others have to go home to. He was beginning to get protective of her, but when she was around he seemed more calm, even towards Naruto and Sakura. Arguments between them had decreased sine Sasuke was to busy paying attention to Naomi to care.

He came back to his senses when he heard a soft, faint giggle. It definitely wasn't Sakura's giggle. His eyes went to Naomi to find her smiling wide as a butterfly was on her finger, flapping its wings gently. Sasuke found himself beginning to smile. It was a small, faint smile that could've gone undetected by others. Perhaps she could be trusted, but with a smile like that, it was hard to tell.

"Oi! We're suppose to be looking for a cat you idiot, not a butterfly." Sakura crossed her arms and Naomi slowly stood up. "Sorry." She spoke softly and blew the butterfly.  Naomi watched as it flew off her and went into the trees, unaware of the glare Sasuke was giving Sakura. She scratched her head lightly and headed back down the path, her hands behind her back. Sasuke followed quickly, making Sakura jealous.

A noise in the bushes made Naomi turn her head, curious as to what it was. She then kneeled and tilted her head. "Kitty?" She reached her hand forward and a snake slithered out, making her eyes widen as arms went around her and pulled her backwards, making her fall on her butt. Looking up, she saw Sasuke had pulled her and kept his arm around her while holding up a kunai. "Huh? Sasuke, it's just a garden snake." She sighed softly and pushed his arm away as she stood up, brushing herself off. The snake slithered away quickly and Naomi kept walking. Embarrassed at his sudden action, he slightly dragged his feet behind her.

Several more times a creature came and they found it to be just other harmless animals. A garden mouse, a white fluffy cat that wasn't Jimin, a bunny, and a deer. Each time, Sasuke would get protective, finally they were having a break which meant they all split up to Sasuke's displeasure.

Sasuke sat under a tree as he chowed down on some rice ball, a smile appeared on his face for a second, remembering Naomi's second day with him.as he stared up at the sky, he thought about it.

~°-°~ flashback ~•^•~

Exhaustion was going through Sasuke's body because he had been training all morning, almost forgetting about his new guest, Naomi. Of course, it wouldn't be hard to forget about her since she was rather quiet and didn't seem to fancy being around others, but he hoped to change that a bit, as he planned on taking her to see a family friend in the mist (my friends OC). He had known her pretty much all his life.

He soon arrived home and walked in, sighing as he went to shower. As he walked into his room to get clothes, he noticed his room was a bit more organized, not that it wasn't before. He was a bit curious now and looked around, seeing his pile of dirty clothes were gone and a clean stack of clothes were on his bed. He couldn't help but feel annoyed, yet thankful. He didn't like that she was in her room, but he did like that she cleaned. Shaking his head, he grabbed some clothes and went into the washroom.Stopping to check outside real quick, where he saw that she was washing his dirty clothes, making him feel a little embarrassed before he went to the washroom.

After soaking in the water for a bit, he came out and looks around the house. Noticing she was asleep on the floor, curled in a ball. The clothes basket near her, but empty. He couldn't leave her there, so he walked over and lifted her up carefully, as to not wake her, and brought her to the guest room. He laid her down gently with a small frown. "Lighter than I remember.." He mumbled and looked at her dress attire. He paused then went to his room and grabbed a pair of shorts and a shirt, bringing them to the room again and setting them on the bed. Sasuke then walked out.

After a few hours, her eyes began to open and she sat up. Rubbing her eyes. After a moment, she gets up, noticing the clothes there. Pausing, she changes her clothes and walks out of the room, going to the kitchen. When she walked in, Sasuke was eating rice balls. He looked to her, blushing faintly at the way she looked in his clothes. shaking his head to snap out of his thoughts, he then offered her a rice ball.
"What is that?"
"A rice ball."
"What's in it?"
"Have you never had a rice ball before?"
"No..." She stares at it.
He sighs and takes a bite. "It's not poisonous." He offers it to her, even though he took a bite, and she finally takes it. Pausing for a moment, she takes a bite. "Yummy." She mumbles and eats the whole thing in a few more bites. Ending up with rice pieces on the corner of her mouth. Smirking, he uses his thumb and wipes her mouth. "Learn to eat nicely." He sighed and she stared at him. "D-don't look at me like that..." Sasuke turned away quickly and she tilted her head. "You got embarrassed from me looking at you.. okay."

"Hey, let's go to the mist for a bit." He then said and she nodded.
"Okay." She said softly.
"But first, I'll go buy you some clothes.." He then left in a hurry.
"Hmm?" She tilted her head. Leaving in such a rush, with an excuse to buy her clothes. Did he know her size?

~end

A noise in the bushes caught Sasuke's attention and he turned his head to see the chubby cat, Jimin, walking out. His eyes widened as Naomi jumped out of the bushes, gently grabbing the cat. "Gotcha.." She smiles, standing up straight as she scratched the cats head. It took her a moment before noticing Sasuke. She slightly blushes in embarrassment, but it faded rather quickly as she noticed the rice ball Sasuke was eating. Her eyes seeming to light up. Slowly, she walked over to him, and kneeled down, opening her mouth.

He stare at her for a moment, thinking of her blush before breaking a piece of his rice ball and putting it in her mouth. She closed her mouth and chewed it as the cat meowed, rubbing against Naomi. Sasuke looked to the cat, happy she found it right then. His eyes slowly went up to her face though. The only thing that kept him from raising his hand to move the hair from her face was the fact that the cat was meowing like crazy. Not from being in her arms though, but because of Sasuke's presence.
"We should get home home now." She spoke and he nodded in agreement, though didn't remember the address. "Yeah.. Okay." He stood up. The two then walked together, having some small talk.

Sasuke never noticed that Sakura had been watching that, but Naomi did. However, she didn't care enough about it to say anything.
