Chapter one: Pain
I didn't mean for all of this to happen, but it did and it's too late to take back.

I stood there, teeth chattering. My body was shivering and my insides felt frozen in place. It hurt standing in the cold. It's what I get for not obeying... but I'm 14. I shouldn't be treated like a baby.
It was getting darker every minute, and every second I could feel the warmth slipping out. When the snow started falling, I got worried. I ran over to door, shuffling through the snow that piled on the ground and pounded against the door.
" Come on, Its snowing! I have no shoes, no jacket on, please let me back in. I promise I will try to behave!" I looked at my fists and saw that they were now the color purple.
There was no answer. It was around nine o'clock and I knew by then I would be an ice sculpture. I had to find a way in. I went over to the side of the house and shoved at the window. I couldn't break in. I trampled over to the other side of the house.
My feet were numb and I wasn't able to feel them anymore. I bent down to the small rectangle window near the ice ground. I pushed my hands and pressed hard against the window. It cracked on the side, racing towards the corner. I smashed my frozen knuckles in the window, not being able to feel the pain but only seeing the blood.
I cleared out the chips of glass and tried slipping my body through the opening. It only got through my thighs before I became stuck. I couldn't push myself in anymore so I just climbed back out. I stepped back, and turned around. Tears began sliding down my cheeks that were flushed with coldness. The tears felt warm compared to everything else around me.
I crossed my arms together, trying to keep the warmth that was left in my body. I walked over to the front steps and crouched on the porch. I did everything possible to not let any warmth escape my body. My eyes began to slowly shut. As I closed my eyes I could feel my brian freezing up, beginning to shut down. I didn't know if I was falling asleep or if I was freezing to death.
Just as my body was completely shutting down, a bright light made my eyes shoot open. I saw my dads outline of his shadow standing in the doorway. He came over to me and lifted my head up.
" Lisa..." he whispered, " get up and come inside now. "
" I...I... can't. I can't feel my feet." I cracked out of my soar throat. My dad just left leaving the door open. I tried my best to reach the doorway. Once my dragged body was at the door I lifted myself up. I stumbled to my room, burying under the soft blankets on my bed.
After I was able to feel all the nerves in my body, I got up. I headed towards the bathroom, rushing to splash hot water on my face. I looked up at myself in the mirror and saw that my lips were dark purple, cheeks pink, and eyes bright blue. It was almost like I was a canvas. I rubbed my face, trying to get back my normal flesh color. I decided to take a long, hot shower.

After I was refreshed from the cold, I dried off. I put on my fuzzy, soft, and warm pajama pants on along with a long sleeved shirt. I darted towards my room, trying to avoid seeing my dad. I jumped under my blankets and stared at the clock. It read the time 10: 48. Tomorrow I had school, which I wasn't ready for after this hard night.
I clenched my hands together, gritting my teeth from the pain in my fist. The cuts from the glass were deep gashes and I was able to see parts of my bone. I shut the lights off, trying to sleep away the pain. As I drifted away to my thoughts, I started to replay the night. Tears flowed out of my eyes, dropping down onto the covers.
