"BREAKING NEWS", We've just gotten a call from the President, she wishes to make an announcement. Go ahead, President Warren."
"Yes, thank you. I know that over the past years We've been lagging behind in the military department and our new technology hasn't been put to the best of its abilities. We can't keep training our military the same, we must try something different, and I believe that starts with the new generation. That is why I am asking all parents over the United States to send your first born child to Northern Canada, who has agreed to help us since they are in the same predicament. Take your children to your nearest airport, the staff will take over from there. Thank you and God Bless America."~New York City NACA~
Marcus was with his mom when the announcement happened. His father was somewhere getting drunk or something, Marcus just wished he didn't come home that night. He and his mom were both sitting on the couch as the announcement rang through the house. Marcus froze beside his mom, he was glad to be away from his bastard of a father, but he didn't want to leave his mom. He loved her so much, and she was the only thing keeping him happy anymore.
"Baby, you have to go.." His mom spoke, and without looking at her, he knew she was already crying. She didn't want her little baby to leave either. Marcus looked at his mom with teary eyes, a tear falling before more followed suit.
"I don't want to mom. I don't want to leave you!" Marcus hugged his mom tight, gripping the fabric of her clothes on her back and crying onto her shoulder."I know baby, but think about it. You won't have to deal with your father anymore." His mom tried to console him, pulling him back to show him a small smile.
"Let's get you packed and I will drive you okay?" She asked Marcus, to which he nodded sadly. Both got up from the couch and walked the distance to his room. They both packed everything he would need, soon after, leaving out the house and going to the car. His mom drives him to the airport. Before Marcus left for the building, his mom stopped him."I love you, baby, remember that." She leaned down and gave him a hug and a kiss before letting him go. That was the last he saw of his mom.

Gregory looked confused when the announcement ranged through his house as if he didn't know what was happening.'Welp I guess it's WWII again.' He thought to himself. His mother and father looked at each other with tears in their eyes, as they turned to look at their son the tears started falling rapidly. He then realized where he was going and begged to stay but on the inside, he knew there was nothing he could do.
"We love you, Greg." His mother said as she went to his room and started to pack his things. His father was devastated, crying, and heartbroken."Are you guys serious!" He said, his voice rising in a nervous panic. His father nodded slowly and sadly leaving to grab his car keys and start the car.
When his mother finished packing she gave him a note saying:
"Stay strong son, we love you and please think of us the whole time."
He silently cried as he read it on the way to the airport. He didn't want his family to know that he was sad. When his dad pulled up he got out the car with his parents. They were surrounded by other kids with their heartbroken parents. He hugged his parents and as he was about to board he cried out:
"Goodbye. I love you!!" The whole family said in unison to one another. That was the last time he saw his parents.
