Narrator pov

"Babe!"

"Yeahh" Bakugou yells back.

"I'm going to work, I'll be home by 1:30am."

"Alright, be safe."

"I always am. I love you, see you later." Izuku says as Bakugou walks up to kiss him goodbye.

"Love you too."

Izuku then walks out the door to go to "work". In reality, Izuku is going out to buy Katsuki a ring! Izuku is planning on asking Bakugou to marry him on their six year anniversary in two days time.

Though Izuku is the female in the relationship, he feels as though Katsuki is too shy to propose to him, so he'll do it himself. It is known that Katsuki is not the type to be shy or timid about things, but when it comes to Izuku, you'd be surprised.

Izuku heads towards the shop he and Katsuki's old buddy, mina, owns. She decided heroing wasn't her main focus and build a jewelry store for couples like he and Katsuki. Couples that were hopelessly in love and wanted to make it known to the world that they were together.

Izuku'd set up an appointment to pick out a ring a few weeks back. He just can't believe he's going through with this. He'd even set up a special restaurant for the location to propose to Katsuki at. All of this was very expensive but he'd do anything for Katsuki.

Picking out a ring

"Hmmm I don't think this one is right either Mina."

"This is the twenty-second ring you've looked at. There are only a few more left until after the anniversary, so you better get to choosing."

"I'm sorry Mina, I just want to find the perfect ring that describes our love perfectly. One that'll show how much I love him and need him in my life.... how much he means to me."

Mina had a thoughtful look on her face before she responded.

"You know what, I might have one that you might really love! Hold on a sec." She said as she dashed towards the back of the store. She came back seconds later with a velvety colored box. She opened it up to show a red, green, and white, diamond, ruby, and jade ring.

It was absolutely stunning. Izuku couldn't believe his eyes.

"OMG!!" he squealed, "This is it!! This is the ring!" Mina smiled and rung him up for the ring.

Arriving home

Izuku noticed a car in the driveway as he pulled up and soon recognized it as Todoroki's car. He got excited all over again. He hadn't seen his pal Todo in a while, but he wondered why he's there so late. Katsuki usually doesn't like people over after 9 and it's almost 11.

Over thinking as he usually does, Izuku got worried something bad happened.

Izuku ran quickly to the already unlocked door - which worried him more - and stepped inside. He stood there first, not wanting to let himself be known if there was a killer in the house or something. Then he heard grunting like there was a struggle from upstairs, so he powered up his one for all and started up the stairs skipping over all the squeaky steps. As soon as he got upstairs he smelled something funky but familiar. He just couldn't quite put his finger on what it was. And that worried him more. What if it was some type of drug or bad chemical? He took his mask from under his shirt and put it on as he moved closer towards the room he heard the sound coming from.
