the sound of glass breaking made corbyn rush to the sound, hoping his mother's good china wasn't broken. she would rip him a new one if he broke her expensive china.

christina noticed crobyn rushing to the kitchen, grabbing her boyfriends arm to slow his movements. corbyn was about to push her way, but when he saw who it was he relaxed.

"i know you didn't want to have this party, but please enjoy yourself!" she yells both hands on either side of corbyn's shoulders. corbyn smiles at his girlfriend, leaving a quick kiss on her lips.

"i just don't want my parents to be upset with me." he sighs, corbyn always had to please his parents, being the oldest out of three his parents expected a lot from corbyn and they were very strict about parties and grades. of course like any teenager corbyn rebelled against the rule, having thrown a party which got him grounded for two months.

christina smiles fondly at her boyfriend. "go find jack and jonah." she pushes him the opposite direction.

corbyn's house was average size, the living room the biggest room in the house. the living room was filled with baby pictures of corbyn and his siblings, which he made sure to hide those away from his peers. outside was a pool his father had installed two summers ago, the request coming from ashley who usually got her way being their father's favorite, even if he said he didn't have one jordan and corbyn both knew it was ashley.

jack was outside, in the pool chatting with gabbie gonzalez, his girlfriend since freshmen year. jonah was somewhere likely making out with tate. corbyn rolls his eyes, crossing his arms as he made his way to the empty chair.

"you good?" the voice of daniel seavey slurs. when corbyn turns towards him, he was holding a red solo cup, his brown hair laid flat against his forehead, no longer gelled up like he normally had it.

corbyn rolls his eyes, turning away from daniel. something about daniel made corbyn want to be far away from him. it could've been the fact that daniel flirted with him every chance he got.

daniel rolls his eyes, a sly smirk on his lips. "this is your party you know?" he replies taking the seat in front of corbyn. "you seem miserable." he comments, taking a gulp from his drink.

corbyn refused to acknowledge daniel, instead he looked around the backyard at all the people, who were either chatting or practically having sex.

"silent treatment?" daniel raises a brow, leaning back on the chair. when corbyn didn't reply again, daniel scoots his chair closer to corbyn's who backs away. "you're really cute you know?" daniel randomly says, the smirk on his lips wide as he watched corbyn's cheeks turn a bright red.

corbyn with a long groan replies back. "you know i have a girlfriend. right?" corbyn stands quickly.

before corbyn could get away from daniel, the brown haired boy stops him. "i know you do. but that's the fun." corbyn wanted to slap the smirk of his lips.

yanking his hand away from daniel's corbyn backs up. when he was about to walk forward though he was met with a cold splash, his clothes now heavier on his body as he swam up.

the sound of laughter echoed in corbyn's ears. when he emerged from the cold water. but that's not what he focused on, his eyes stared at the laughing daniel seavey, the male enjoying the fact corbyn had fallen into the pool.

leaning up, corbyn hoists himself up from the pool, the weight of his wet clothes pulling him down. thankfully corbyn left his phone in his room, the only thing getting wet was his clothes.

corbyn, huffs, standing up. he was ready to punch daniel, the anger in his blood at a boiling point already.

but before he could even confront daniel, jack quickly runs towards him, blocking his view from daniel. "go get changed." he whispers.
