One thing I surely know about myself; I don't paint dreams or nightmares because I paint reality. I paint something that is never far from real. I paint because I express every single thing that's been haunting me ever since. You may say that I am haunted and so it is a nightmare, but then, I'm not dreaming. I am awake and so is my demons. And this is my reality. I am and forever will be haunted by that one grave mistake of the 19 year old Ormosia.
Life is boring without a little touch of excitement and recklessness, right? Somehow, when I was still a teenager myself, I could say that I was reckless and well, stupid. Super stupid. I've been involved in some simple crimes like resisting arrest, assaulting an officer, kidnapping a minor and riding public transportation without paying fare. It's just small simple minor crimes. I don't think it's a crime though but they call it one so, fine.
Ross was kinda dazed with my too reckless words. I slipped my words a little bit and here he is, looking like some kind of a person with mental disability. Oo, mukha siyang abnormal kasi nakatulala lang sya sa kamay nya tapos biglang ngingiti, tapos tatawa sya. After that, he'll sigh so deep and then back at staring blankly at his hands again. Repeat. I've never heard any word from him ever since the moment my hand reached his a while ago. Crazy, right?
"Hey Tominez." I tried calling him out but to no success. "Hey!" I snapped in front of him but he just covered his face. Seriously? I am already getting irritated here. Yes, I know.
I've reached my boiling point already and I've got enough of his overreaction. "Tominez, I know you can hear me. Stop it, seriously this time." And gave him a sharp look. He finally looked at me straight in the eyes and sighed once again.
"Forgive me, love. I'm just... I'm feeling like I'm on cloud nine. I... I can't put my feelings into words anymore, Ormosia. What the fucking hell did you do to me?" there was frustration and overjoy in his voice and I don't know what to say to him. I always don't.
"You are overreacting once again, Tominez. I only soothed you out kasi mukhang kinakain ka na ng selos." I reasoned out but he just shrugged me off.
"Still, I don't know what to do. I'm out of words, baby." Baby? Love? Mahal? Ormosia? What's next, Ross?
I queried and he smiled at me dreamily. Oh shit, he looks like he's daydreaming! Should I slap him right now? Would that help?
"Yes, you're my love. That means you're also my baby, my babe, my darling, my dear, my life, my treasure, my honey, my sugar, egg, flour, preheat to 365 F, bake and voila, hottest and mouth-watering Ormosia Aduana." I laughed heartily with his statement and he just innocently gazed at me. Tangang 'to. Ginawa ba namang cooking instructions.
"Nabaliw ka na, Tominez." I shook my head numerous times with smiles glued in my face. Witty sya doon.
"Sayo yata, oo." I grimaced. Iba na yata tama nito, ah.
"Shut up, you and your corny lines." I snubbed.
"What? Horny lines?!" Wtf.
I gibed at him but he just made a face. A confused one.
"Iyon na nga eh. Hindi ko nga alam na nakakabaliw pala ang ma in love sa'yo, Aduana." At bigla nyang sinabunutan ang sarili. Talk shit rin itong supervisor kong naka shat ah.
