Ever Use Doors?

✧Sophie's POV✧

I awoke to my 7 year old sister crashing into my bedroom (without knocking) and started screeching at me like she was the older one. GET UP GET UP GET UPPP!she yelled. My only response was to throw my pillow at her. I know that wasn't nice but it was necessary in order to get her out. She jumped dodging it and slammed the door shut. Having Mary as my little sister was a pain. I stumbled out of bed and put on my grey chevron slippers. I went across the hall to the bathroom and brushed out my hair and teeth. I quickly managed to do that and went back to my bedroom closed the door and put on my spotify playlist that read relax. I managed to put my hair in a messy bun and slumped down stairs to get breakfast even if that meant just an orange. My parents were out of town for a 2 person vacation trip they won at work so my little sister was going to our grandmas house while I stayed at home. She only lived 15 min away so I was fine staying alone. The clock on the oven read 10:26 a.m. and my friend Layla was coming over at 6 to get ready for this party we were going to tonight and her boyfriend Ryan was picking us up at 7. Mary's little feet thudded down the stairs causing me to lose my train of thought. She had her hair in a braid that was lop sided but I didn't want to say anything to get her worked up so I continued on my hunt for food. I just gave up and accepted an apple. While I washed it Mary put Disney channel on the T.V and I went up stairs to edit a video. When I checked my phone a text popped up and it read

Tyler: Morning beautiful, are you going the the party tonight?

Tyler always had his ways of making me smile or laugh and that's one of the things I love about him. Him and I have been "dating" since 8th grade. We have had one of the longest relationships out of our friends. I sent back yes and set my phone down and turned on my apple laptop. My house was pretty big considering my dad was a lawyer and my mom dose stuff for the government. Mary and I were lucky to live in a house like this and we both appreciated it a lot. Then I snapped out of my thoughts when my phone went off agian. It was lily, she was calling me.

Hello? I said

Hey, can i come over? She quickly said.

I grinned "uh yeah I guess, I was gonna edit a video but.."
"Sounds fun be there in 5!" Then she hung up

I chuckled, she was so strange but she was my best friend and we had each other backs. I picked up the clothes off my floor & made my bed when I heard a startling noise at my window. It was lily! She climbed up the ladder and was outside of my window! I opened it up. "Ever use doors? I asked with a smile. "Nope she said" while struggling to make it in. I shut the window and we started editing a video together.
