He somehow maintained his alleged troublemaker personality in front of his mother and said, "Mom, I dont think I should stay here any longer," he knew he needed to get over Hoseok, "Can't I just transfer far away from here?".
Now, his mom, a complete sweetheart who only wanted the best for her son, but was a very busy woman as she had a job and also managed the whole house due to her husband's job that required much travelling, replied, "Oh, you wanna transfer far away? Let me just check with your dad if his business trip to Seoul is going good, I'll ask him how the schools there are, and if you could possibly live the rest of your school life there."
Her remark was meant to be a sarcastic one, but Jungkook, at that point was too desperate. So he replied, "Really? You'd do that for me? Thank you so much, you're the best mom ever,"
His mom, speechless at his- uuuh dumbness you may say, thought about it, and finally decided. Her son was growing up, and he needed to have the experience of living alone, after all, she too had moved out of her parents' house at sixteen for good, and it isn't like he'd forget about them, the boy couldn't even cook ramen. So, that night, she called up her husband, and made a decision that would change their son's life for the better.
