~Train Romance~ - Conductor x Reader Fanfiction (A Hat In time)

Back to the Dead Bird Studio

    It was a usual day as ever. Stars were shining and glimmering in the beautiful sky with mixed colors of purple, black, blue and pink. Let's just say, space was always the best place for artist to illustrate and represent.

And so, you were drawing the beautiful scenery with your professional art supplies. Your sister Hat Kid was playing with Rumbi, she loved this cute little cleaning robot so much. They were running around the space ship, hugging each other, playing with toys and such. Pretty much doing what every average kid would do in their childhood and you were happy about it. Ever since you both landed into this planet Hat Kid became more joyful, same goes for you. You never really had friends in the past, because of your personal reasons, but it seems like it has changed.

Now, there are people surrounding you. The Mafia Goons are not so bad. Yes, they can be rude and mean, but overall they're pretty fine. Snatcher is also a great friend, even though he tried to kill you and Hat Kid. He's just a tsundere noodle boi.

It seems like you forgot about someone else, but it was fine, you'll remember them anyway. (lol forget about the main characters in this story-)

*Ring, ring, ring* - played in the distance. You wondered who it was, so you picked up the call. It was DJ Grooves, that Club Penguin disco looking guy. He would always call everyone 'darling' to show of how perfect of a star he is, but you were okay with it. It makes him look funny for some reason.

"Hello (Y/N)! It is I DJ Grooves."

"Hi DJ Grooves! Is there anything bothering you?"

"Oh well darling, you see, ever since the annual bird movie awards have passed we started to work on our new movie and we need you to star in it! You'll be perfect for it!"

Already? Well, you're not even surprised. Pretty sure he wanted to start working hard for the next annual bird movie award, so he can finally beat Conductor for once, but maybe there was an other reason. You decided to accept the offer anyway, because you knew that he would be upset. Although, you haven't seen the two birds lately so you thought it would be a great idea.

"Alright, I'll come over. When do we start?"

"You can make your way here right now darling! Everything is ready."

Wow, that was quicker than you thought.

"Okay, coming right away!"

"Thank you, darling!" *click*

How should I say this, you were excited and nervous at the same time, because of how fast the events are going. Without hesitation, you told HK about everything. She had joy in her eyes, so she went over to the ship controller and started moving it towards the Dead Bird Studio location.

As soon as you arrived, you dashed through the same metal doors into the reception. Hat Kid was kind of confused of your actions. She knew you liked the birds a lot, but never expected you to be so excited about meeting them. Overall, she accepted it. When you walked in you saw DJ Grooves and Conductor talking. Wow, they're actually having a pleasing dialog instead of a 24/7 arguing. You stared at them with a confused look on the face, but you snapped out of it quickly and walked over to them. DJ Grooves noticed you first.

"Oh, hello darling! Welcome back!"

"Hello, lassy!" The Conductor also greeted you. He had a smile on his face, which was a bit weird to you, considering that he argues with everyone a lot. 

"H-Hello!" You waved nervously.

"So darling are you ready to star?"

Condcutor seemed to be confused at what DJ Grooves just said. He didn't expect him to start working on a new movie so early. Only 5 days have passed and he's already on it. 

"Yea, sure-"

"Lassie, are yer helping HIM again?"

 DJ Grooves looked offended by his speech.  And the arguing started again. Both birds were screaming and insulting each other and trying to show off how more awesome and cooler they are than themselves. The bird staff tried to calm them down, but it didn't work. Sometimes you just wish you never came to this place, but you had to do something about it. You tried to think of the words your going to say and eventually you made it.

"O-Okay, guys. How about we won't be arguing right now and I'll just star in both of your movies?" Your face was filled with worry and regret. Usually your sayings would offend somebody, maybe because you were surrounded by people that dislike you, since you didn't have any friends. You tried to be careful and you guess it worked.

"Alrght den! This was a useless talk anyway." He had his usual face now, filled with hatred, fury and bitter. He then spoke up. 

"Now then, lassy. I want you and yer sister Hat Kid to come to my movie set after you finish staring with DJ Peck Neck. AND YER BETTER NOT BE LATE!"

You backed up a bit. You never liked Conductor being mad, cause he was turning into a complete death machine, but it also made him look kind of... cute and tsundere? You snapped out of your thoughts and answered to him.

"Okay, I got it."

After that Conductor went off to his office while mumbling. I looked over at DJ Grooves, waiting for him to say something.

"Oh darling, excuse us for this argument we had. You know how mad he can be, I should've told him earlier."

"It's fine really, he's not that bad after all."

Suddenly, Hat Kid came in. She had something in her arms.

"Hey guys, did I miss something?"

"You sure did, haha. Also, where were you?"

"Oh, I went to the ice cream shop to buy us some ice cream." She held 3 of them in her hands. Then she gave them to all of us. Hat Kid bought vanilla flavoured ice cream, DJ Grooves got blueberry and you for a (F/F) ice cream, you loved it so much. After eating it you asked DJ Grooves if HK can star in the movie.

"Of course, darling. Your sister has a big role as you do."

Hat Kid seemed happy about it. So she talked back.

"Sure, I'd love to! You know, we're always ready to help." We both then giggled and looked back at DJ Grooves.

"Amazing! Let's go, darlings. It's time to shine!"

Then you, Hat Kid and DJ Grooves went to the movie studio to star in his next movie...
