Bree's pov.

"I don't remember the place being this far." I complain.

"It's not, you've just stayed long without coming here, that's your problem." Celine says giggling at my complain.

"I can still see your house from here." She adds.

I look back. Truly she wasn't lying. My house is still in view. We barely walked a kilometre but my feet are killing me. Don't even mention my healing fractured ankle. I feel like all my blood is being directed to it. It's so painful.

How did my dad not notice it, maybe I'm just that good at hiding it. I'm proud of myself.

I am relieved when I see my favourite stone in a distance. It stands at the top. The land is higher in this place. It's like a hill but it's a hill surrounded by an estate. The view from the stone is to die for.

The stone is so big. It's almost the size of a full grown male elephant.

Grass has overgrown around the area and more houses have been built since I left.

Great!!!

But I am grateful that the view of the sunset has not been altered.

"Hurry up the sun is almost setting." Celine squeals.

She is struggling to climb as always. I was always the one who helped her up. She loves slaying around. Why can't she be tough as I am.

I'm I tough?

Yes, I am.

I just changed when that Ryan guy come crashing into my life.

Ryan!!!

I miss him. AF!!!

"Okay, I give up. I should have carried my ladder." She says sighing from her in vain efforts.

I chuckle.

"A ladder, what are you, a granny or something." Now I'm full in laughter.

She stares at me blankly, clearly finding the joke not funny.

I laugh harder at the way her eyes just want to strangle me to death.

"Okay sorry, I mean, when I went away you used to come here with a ladder? What if it fell when you we're still up, what would you have done?" I walk towards her and help her up.

She is happy to finally be up. She sits and waits for me as I easily climb up and sit beside her.

"It did once." She says her eyes watching the horizon.

"What?" I can't help but grin to the thought of it.

"I called my dad, he helped me down. If he knows I was here again I will be grounded till I graduate." She half smiles answering the question I wanted to ask.

We stay in silence watching the sun go down. It's quite the sight if you ask me. It's so beautiful and relaxing.

"It's nice to sit here and forget all our problems, isn't it?" I ask tucking my loose strand of hair behind my ear.

"Yeah," she says with a sigh.

I smile at her and she places her hand over mine.

The sun goes down as we both reflect on our lives.

I look back at how and when my problems started and who started them in the first place.

It all leads to one name.
