Bus Romance

Jimin and HaeSoo were both waiting at a bus stop. School had just finished and they both wanted to go to the hospital to visit Hoseok. The most anticipated one was HaeSoo because Detective Kim didn't let her go the day before.

The two quietly waited for a long while until Jimin finally spotted the bus coming to their stop. "Finally!" He said out loud as he watched the bus stop in front of them. The two entered scanning their student bus card to the little machine before going in. HaeSoo froze making Jimin stop behind her. Her eyes looked around not knowing what to do. The bus was completely full, there were no seats and both Jimin and HaeSoo would have to squeeze themselves in.

HaeSoo sighed and began to walk through the crowded bus. Jimin followed behind her as they both searched for something to hold onto. HaeSoo finally spotted a pole which seemed free and grabbed onto it. HaeSoo's hand held on to the lower part while Jimin held on to the upper part.

HaeSoo hadn't noticed Jimin was so close to her because her back was turned. She couldn't even feel him touching her because Jimin was basically squished to her backpack. HaeSoo didn't feel too uncomfortable until she noticed two people leaving their seats.  She smiled to herself and quickly turned around to show Jimin, but she ended up meeting with his chest.

HaeSoo froze in place as her head slowly looked up. Jimin was looking down to her still keep his hand on the pole. HaeSoo and Jimin stared at each other for a long while. The bus then suddenly stopped making HaeSoo stumble and almost hit the back of her head on the pole. But instead, she found Jimin's hand place itself on the back of her head pulling her into his chest. Her head was now on his chest with his left hand on the pole while his right hand was on her head. "You should've held onto the pole. Your head could've gotten hit."

HaeSoo didn't move once and just listened to Jimin's heartbeat. She wasn't able to tell if it was her heart or it was his, but one of their hearts were beating quickly and it made HaeSoo nervous. "Get a room you two, this is a public bus!" The sound of a man made Jimin let go of HaeSoo. Jimin bowed to the man to say sorry while HaeSoo quickly ran to the free seat.

HaeSoo sat on the seat quickly and took her bag off behind her bag. She placed it on her knees and hugged it tightly out of embarrassment. Her cheeks were practically red and her grip around her bag turned tighter and tighter as she thought about what happened just now. She then felt someone take the seat next to her and turned to see Jimin right there.

HaeSoo gulped and kept on staring at him replaying the incident that just happened in her head. HaeSoo bit her bottom lip out of nervousness as her eyes looked down to the bag she was tightly holding onto. She didn't understand why she felt this way right now. There were many times where Jimin had done those flirty moves, but for some reason, this one time, she felt butterflies in her stomach.

For the first time in a while, HaeSoo had noticed Jimin's facial features. His pink plumped lips, his soft brown hair, his smooth looking skin, something about him made her feel weird. She couldn't stop staring and Jimin clearly noticed. "Can't resist my handsomeness?" Jimin teasingly asked. HaeSoo's eyes widened and her cheeks turned even redder out of embarrassment. She quickly looked away and just stared at the outside view of the bus. Jimin quietly laugher at how different HaeSoo was acting.

"Did you know Detective Kim came to hospital yesterday?" Jimin asked HaeSoo as she nodded to his question. "He happened to tell me that you wanted to come too. I didn't know you wanted to see me that much." Jimin smirked as HaeSoo wrote in her journal while walking at the same time.

Journal:

I wanted to see Hoseok, not you.
