Sakura fished her phone out from her pocket and texted the number that was written on the letter.
To unknown: Hey, this is Miyawaki Sakura. I wanna give you a proper reply regarding on the love letter you've given. I'm not implying that I'm open to a relationship nor I'm rejecting your feelings. I just wanna talk. Meet me at the greenhouse later around 5pm?
Sakura sighed after pressing the send then started searching for Chaeyeon's name in her contacts. Her thumb hovered back and forth between message and dial until she decided it was better to call.
It's lunch time. Chaeyeon is probably at the cafeteria. She pressed her phone to her ear and walked the way leading to the cafeteria.
"Saku-chan?"
"Jjaeyeon, how are you?" She sped up her strides.
"Everything's going well. I think I'm ready for the presentation. You'll be there, right?" She can hear chewing. Chaeyeon must have taken a bite from meal. Then she heard Eunbi's voice. Just bits of words are audible.
"Jjaeyeon... I... I won't be able to come. I'm sorry, I really am. I just discovered the schedule for our exam. It's on the same day and time. I'm sorry, Jjae," Sakura knows her voice had sounded frantic. She hasten her legs more when she saw the door of the cafeteria. She carefully listened to the other side of the phone as she wait for Chaeyeon's voice. Her best friend's chewing had seemingly stopped.
"It's okay, Saku-chan... I understand. There would be next time. You see, I gotta go. See you when I see you." Then she heard the end of call.
Sakura stopped in front of the door and glanced down on the screen of her phone. Her palms started sweating. The tone of Chaeyeon's voice was not good.
She was about to push the door when it banged open, hitting her on the forehead.
Her body was thrown back from the impact and she fell to the ground, clutching her aching forehead. "It–ta–ta–ta–tai!"
"Holy shit! I'm so sorry!" She felt someone's hand grasping her arm. "Are you able to stand up? I'm sor– Miyawaki-san?!"
Sakura forcibly opened her eyes and stared at the stranger in front of her. Her facial features looked familiar, in a cultural way.
She tried to stand and the woman immediately assisted her. "Mi–Miyawaki-san, gomen-nasai. Let me accompany you to the clinic."
Staggering she let the woman lead her to the clinic. Her head buzzing slightly.

"She'll be fine, Matsui-ssi." Sakura heard as she open her eyes. It was a voice of a woman, matured and decisive.
She vaguely remembered falling asleep after lying down on the bed for a few seconds. She glanced around, only able to see through the slit of the white curtains surrounding her bed.
She saw the nurse use her gesture animatedly. "She can go as soon as she wakes up." The nurse stood up, then she heard the door open and close. In a beat, the curtain was drawn open.
"Miyawaki-san, you're awake. How's your head?" said the woman who was partly the cause of the accident. She rushed to the bed to help Sakura sit up.
Sakura focused on the faint ache on her forehead, it was mild and almost unnoticeable. "Surprisingly, fine. I didn't get your name."
The woman gave her a smile. "Matsui Jurina desu."
Ah, that's why she looks different from most of the Korean students, Sakura concluded. She patted the pocket of her skirt for her phone but it was empty. "Where's my phone?" she asked.
