The next day, he decided to look for a place again.

He paid at the counter as he exit the sauna.

It was currently the summer break for students so he still has time to enroll.

But he still needs to hurry in finding a place.

After a whole day of looking, he still couldn't find any.

He saw many apartments but he knew he can't afford them considering the fact that he's still a high schooler.

He stopped at a convenience store to eat and rest before leaving again to search.

While looking around, he noticed a group of kids, probably his age, the two of them are pushing a boy and the other is watching his friends bully the boy.

Seeing the current state of the boy, he couldn't stop himself from stepping up for him.

He asked the owner if he could watch his things for a while.

When the owner said yes, he left his stuff inside the convenience store and approached the group.

"Hey!" He called out.

It gained the attention of the bullies.

"What do you want?" One of the bullies asked.

"Leave the poor boy alone." Taehyung said.

"And what are you gonna do about it?"

"Oh you don't wanna know." Taehyung said while showing off an intimidating look in attempt of scaring the bullies away.

Which seemed to work well since the 'leader' told the other two to let the boy go.

"You're lucky today but you won't be the next time so watch your back. Come on boys." The leader said to the boy before leaving.

Taehyung sighed in relief.

He felt like he was going to pee his pants anytime.

He really felt scared while talking to the bullies.

Even though he can look intimidating, he is an actual softie inside.

"Thank you so much." The boy said.

"It's nothing."

"I'm surprised you were able to stop them. They hardly comply to what other people say to them."

"I guess it's because I look too intimidating." Taehyung said showing off his boxy smile and scratching his nape.

"Yeah. I was scared too for a minute there."

"I'm just glad they got intimidated. I was about to piss my pants off because I was so scared of them." Taehyung said.

They both laughed at the statement.

"I'm Park Jimin by the way."

"My name's Kim Taehyung."

"I really am thankful that you stood up for me. How can I repay you?"

"It's okay really."

"No really. Is there anything I can help you with? I really want to repay you for your kindness."

Taehyung thought for minute.

"No. It's way too much to ask for."

"But it's our chance of finally finding a place to stay."

"Still. It's too much to ask for."

"Do you want to live in the streets then?"

Taehyung was debating with himself whether to tell Jimin or not.

"Um hello? You still there?"

"Oh ah sorry. I have this habit of zoning out when I think too much."

"So? Anything?"

"Well, there is something."

And that's how Taehyung ended up living with the boy he saved from bullies.
