"Good evening, sir. How may I help you?" The old man behind the counter smiles.

"I'd like a room if you have any available." Chance states as he sets Tim and Adam's bag on the floor next to his feet.

"Yes, sir. We have plenty of rooms." The man says as he reaches for the registry.

"Great. I just heard two men over at the saloon complaining that they couldn't get a room. I was afraid I had come too late." Chance says as he signs in.

"Oh, yeah, that must have been those two freaks that came in wanting to perform sinful acts in my hotel." The man says as he hands Chance a key to his room.

"Sinful acts?" Chance asks with a raised brow as he lays the money on the counter.

"Let me tell you, son. This town was once a God-fearing town. Then they started allowing those homosexuals to walk around freely. Well, not in MY hotel. Those sinful creatures are not allowed." The old man smiles proudly. "Third floor, room seven."

"Oh, okay." Chance fakes a smile as he reaches down for his bag. He found himself biting his tongue not to give the old man a piece of his mind. But Tim and Adam needed a place to stay so he thought better of it. "Thank you."

"Have a nice stay." The man calls out as Chance heads for the stairs.

"Sure thing, asshole." Chance mumbles as he reaches the hallway where his room was located. As he walks to his room, he silently prayed that he would not have anyone in the rooms around him. That's all he needed was for his neighbors complaining to the old man and having him come up and catch Tim and Adam in the room f*cking.

A door opens to one of the rooms he had passed, glancing over his shoulder, he sees Rob coming out.

"Hi, Rob." Chance says as he starts to put the key into the keyhole.

"Hey, Buddy. Listen, have you seen Tim and Adam? I'm worried about them. That jerk downstairs just literally kicked them out of here. Wouldn't even rent them a room." Rob says, shaking his head.

"Come inside." Chance says as he walks into his room. Rob follows him in and Chance closes the door behind them. "I'm not actually renting this room for myself." He replies as he walks over to open the window.

"Okay?" Rob answers in question form.

"I'm renting it for them." Chance says as he walks out onto the small balcony and points down to the street below.

Rob walks over and looks over the railing. He smiles as he sees the couple waiting patiently in the alley.

Tim and Adam had left Ringo and Sundance at the stables to be fed and watered. They didn't know which room they would be having so they were having to watch the entire side of the building.

"There." Adam says, pointing as he sees their two friends walk out on the balcony.

"D*mn, that's high up." Tim says. He had never been one to like heights.

"Well, we can always go back to the barn." Adam says, looking around at his lover.

"No, absolutely not. I can do this." Tim says with an unsure nod. "I think". Adding the last part in a whisper.

"Come on." Adam giggles as he grabs Tim's hand and leads him over to the ladder. "Just don't look down."

"Thanks." Tim mumbles as he reaches up for the ladder.

Adam knew that his boyfriend was deathly afraid of heights so he was going to follow the brunette up the ladder so he could whisper words of encouragement.
