Two dark figures. None who we recognized at all. One obviously taller than the other. One wearing some kind of long coat. The smaller one in a gray hoodie. Both wearing glasses. This I could tell from the glare of the lenses from the still lit flashlight. Both definitely male.

We all tried to scramble away but the men were too fast. Far too fast.

The taller man caught two of my friends already, while the smaller man caught only one of them. I ran to save them as they flailed and thrashed, screaming wildly, crying hysterically, clawing at their captors.

The taller male quickly got irritated and quickly drew his sword. He wanted to silence them. It would have alarmed the neighbors. The metal blade flashed and gleamed in the beam of the strewn flashlight. My friends struggled more. Everything was in slow motion. Me running to save my friends, the man throwing down his catches, his blade swiftly slicing through the air, polished metal flashing one last time before the blade also sliced my friends' throats. He just killed them both. His blade was then no longer flashing from the cloak of blood covering the weapon. Despite my urge to flee, to hide, to stop and cry myself out due to the all my too recent losses. I ran. I ran to my last struggling friend. But I was held in place. A gloved, leather hand covering my mouth forcefully, an arm wrapping sturdily around my torso. The male was so much taller, stronger, faster than I was, than I'll ever be.

The leathered glove left my mouth just long enough for me to yell a quick and panicked, "Stop it! Let us go!!" before I was silenced again. My mouth covered

once more but this time, accompanied by my nose and a cloth. A dampened cloth. I wasn't entirely sure why he covered my mouth with a damp cloth until I saw the same done to my friend. Both of us slipping away from consciousness. Chloroform. I see my friend pass out before I too blacked out. I wake up later. About two minutes later it feels. Or what I thought was two minutes later. The room im in is bright. Day.
