Change of Heart

"I'm going to Toronto tomorrow to see Kyle wanna come along" Jake asked. "Sure but who's Kyle" I asked. "One of my best friends" he said. "Oh okay" I said. "We'll probably stay for over a week" Jake said. "Okay sounds good" I said. I went to my room to pack a bag for Toronto. Jake's friend Mikey knocked on the door. Jake opened it and let him in. I went out to the living room where Mikey and Jake were. "Who's she" Mikey asked Jake. "That's my little sister" Jake said. "I'm y/n" I said to Mikey. "I'm Mikey" he said smiling at me. "How come I've never met her" Mikey asked. "She's a dork" Jake said. I rolled my eyes. "She seems pretty chill" Mikey said. "She's crazy" Jake whispered to Mikey. "I heard that" I told Jake. He started laughing. "Wanna go film with me" Mikey asked Jake. "Sure" Jake said. He looked over at me. "Can y/n come too" Jake asked. "Sure" Mikey said smiling. I went out to Mikey's car with them. "Woah your car is sick" I said. "Thanks" Mikey said. "Is this a M4" I asked. "Yeah actually" Mikey said. "I've always wanted one" I said. Mikey smiled at me. We got in the car. Mikey drove us to WaWa. He started filming. He introduced me to his fans. "Locals welcome y/n she's Jake's little sister" he said smiling behind the camera. "Hi guys" I said smiling. "But I'm the better dufner" Jake said laughing. I smiled as I rolled my eyes. We went inside and got bagels. We ate them in the car as we drove to Clinton road. "Y/n have you ever been here" Mikey asked. "Jake has taken me here a few times" I said. "So you're the girl from some of his vlogs" Mikey said. "Yeah I help him film sometimes" I said. We got to Clinton road. Mikey started filming. The sun was starting to set. He wanted to explore the road during the daytime. Eventually we got scared away by some sketchy noises in the woods and phantom trucks. Mikey drove me and Jake home. "Bye guys" Mikey said. He smiled at me on my way out. I walked into the house. I finished packing for tomorrow. Once I was done I went to bed and fell asleep watching some of Mikey's vlogs. The next morning I got up and showered. After that I got changed and grabbed my bag. I met Jake in the kitchen. "Ready to go" he asked. "Yeah" I said. We walked down to Jake's car. We drove for hours. Once it was night time we finally got there. I grabbed my bag out of the back and followed Jake to the door. He knocked on it. Kyle answered. "Ayee Jake" Kyle said. "Hey Stromedy" Jake said. "This is my little sister" he said introducing me. "Hi y/n I'm Kyle" he said. "Hi Kyle" I said. "So what's the nickname Stromedy for" I asked him. "It's for my YouTube" Kyle said. "Ohh" I said. Me and Jake went inside. Kyle showed us to the rooms we'd be staying in. "This is a nice place" I said. "Thanks" Kyle said smiling. "No problem" I said. "So how long are you and Jake here for" Kyle asked. "Over a week" I said. I went to the guest room I was staying in and sat on the bed. I looked at my Snapchat. Mikey had added me. I added him back. A few minutes later he texted me.

Mikey: I had fun filming with you yesterday :)

Me and Mikey texted for a while. Later on I gave him my number so we could play iMessage games. I kept beating him. I fell asleep around 1am after watching more of Mikey's vlogs. In the morning I woke up and went downstairs. I had breakfast with Jake and Kyle. Me and Kyle talked as we ate. We got to know each other better. After we were finished eating I sat with Kyle on the couch. We watched tv for a while. Later on we went to lunch together.

Y/n was absolutely gorgeous. I wanted nothing more then to be her boyfriend. I was so excited to go out with her today.. hopefully she starts to fall for me too.

Kyle was such a gentleman. He treated me like a princess all day. After lunch we went out and toured around Toronto. When I got cold he put his jacket around me and put his arm around me. I smiled to myself. When it started getting late Kyle drove us back to his house. I stayed with him that night in his room. I slept close to him. When I woke up I was in his arms. I played with his hair until he woke up. "Good morning" I said. "Morning beautiful" he said smiling. I got up and took a shower. After that I went downstairs and had cereal. When I was done eating I went back up to Kyle's room. We watched Netflix together for a while. Kyle put his arm around me. I rested my head on his shoulder. Later on we went out for lunch together. Kyle kept smiling at me. I blushed as I tucked a piece of hair behind my ear. "What" I finally asked trying not to smile. "You're just beautiful y/n" he said. I smiled at him. After eating lunch we walked around for a while. "Y/n" Kyle said. "Yes" I asked. "I'm kind of.. falling for you" he said nervously. I stopped him and turned him to face me. I smiled at him. I leaned in and kissed him. "I'm falling for you too" I said smiling. Kyle smiled brightly. "Will you be mine" he asked. "Yes" I said smiling. He held my hand as we toured. A while later we went back to his place. I went to bed with him. He pulled me close. He kissed the top of my forehead. I blushed as I smiled. We watched YouTube together for a while. Around 11pm we fell asleep. I woke up wrapped in Kyle's arms. I smiled to myself. "Good morning beautiful" he said. "Morning" I said. We got up and went downstairs. Jake glared at us. "Uh you two a thing now" Jake asked. I looked at Kyle. "How cute" Jake said smiling. I smiled as I rolled my eyes at him. Jake has texted Mikey about me and Kyle.

I was pretty heartbroken when I heard of y/n and Kyle.. I know I've only known her for so long but she's amazing. She's so kind and pretty and talented.. she lights up the room with that smile. I wish she was mine but I missed my chance now.

The next week went by pretty fast. Tomorrow was the day I had to leave and I was feeling pretty bummed. I was walking by Kyle's room to see if he wanted to get ice cream when I overheard him on FaceTime.. with another girl. He kept saying things like "I love you" and "you're so beautiful." I didn't want to jump to conclusions but I was pretty mad. I opened his door and grabbed his phone before he could hang up. I ran to the bathroom and locked the door. I asked the girl what her name was and who she was. She said her name was Jessica and she was his girlfriend.. for 2 months now. So he cheated on me and her. I explained to her what was going on. After we talked I hung up and sat on the bathroom floor crying. I looked at her name in his phone and it was "Baby 🥵🥰." I was pretty mad and heartbroken. How could he do this.. I opened the door after Kyle had been banging on it for almost an hour before giving up. "You're a terrible human being" I said as tears ran down my face. "What's wrong beautiful" he said trying to hug me. "I know about Jess" I said. "Shit" he said under his breath. "Look it's not what you-" he said before I cut him off. "Go away Kyle it's over" I said. I went to my room and packed my bags. I went to Jake and hugged him tight. I told him what happened. He went to Kyle and punched him. "If you ever disrespect y/n like that again it's over" Jake said angrily looking down at Kyle's now bruised face. I followed him back to his room. He packed his stuff and carried it down to the car. He drove us back to New Jersey. We got home at around 2am. I went to my room and FaceTimed Mikey. I cried explaining everything that happened. He told me he'd come over. A few mins later Mikey knocked on the door. I let him in and hugged him tight. I cried into his hoodie. He rubbed my back as he calmed me down. "It's okay y/n" Mikey said. "He didn't deserve you" he said. I hugged him tighter. He carried me back to my room. He made me smile and get my mind off things. "Thank you for coming over" I said. My eyes were now red and puffy from crying. "Of course y/n I hate seeing you sad" he said. I hugged him. "Sorry you have to see me like this" I said. "Y/n you're still gorgeous to me" Mikey said lifting my chin. I smiled at him. Mikey was getting up to go back home. I grabbed his wrist. "Wait" I said. "Will you stay with me tonight" I asked. "Of course y/n" he said smiling at me. He laid in bed next to me. He pulled me close to his chest. "Thank you Mikey" I said before falling asleep. I woke up around 12pm. "Good morning cutie" Mikey said. "Morning Mikey" I said. "How are you feeling" Mikey asked. "Better I guess" I said. "Well I'll make sure to make today fun I promise" he said smiling. "Okay" I said smiling back. I took a shower and got changed while Mikey went home for a few mins. I walked out and saw Mikey in the living room with Jake. I peered over the corner to see what they were talking about.. it was about Kyle. I walked out to the living room. "Hey y/n" Jake said. "Hi Jake" I said. "Ready to go" Mikey asked. "Yes" I said following behind him. I walked out to his car with him. He drove me to seaside which was my favorite place in New Jersey. We walked around the boardwalk for a while. We stopped and got ice cream together. We walked around eating it as we talked. My phone started going off. It was Kyle.

I looked down at the messages and started tearing up. Mikey looked at me concerned. "Is everything okay" Mikey asked. I hugged him tight as I cried out into his sweatshirt. "Y/n you are so kind and amazing and you deserve so so much more" he said. I looked at him with tears in my eyes. He wiped them away. "I'm always gonna be here for you I promise" he said hugging me tight. "Thank you Mikey" I said as I wiped my tears. It was starting to get dark out now. "Let's go have some fun" Mikey said smiling. I followed behind him. He grabbed my hand as we walked toward the rides. We went over to the Ferris wheel. Mikey sat close to me. I started getting cold. Mikey saw me and put his jacket around me. He put his arm around me and pulled me close. I smiled at him. He smiled back. "You look cute tonight princess" he said smiling. I blushed. "You do too" I said. I leaned my head on his shoulder. We watched the stars as we slowly went up and down. After that we went on a few more rides and played some games. Mikey won me a cute little teddy bear. "For you princess" he said smiling as he handed me the bear. "Thank you" I said smiling. He knew just how to make me happy. I took the tiara off the teddy bear and put it on Mikey's head. "Ready to go princess" I said smiling at him. He smiled back as he put his arm around me walking to his car. He drove us back to his apartment where I spent the night. "Can I borrow some pjs" I asked. "Uh you can wear these" he said handing me a Manfs hoodie and sweatpants. I got changed and went to Mikey's room. I texted Jake that I was spending the night there. I moved close to Mikey. He opened his laptop and put it in front of us. "Can we watch your vlogs" I asked. "You wanna watch my vlogs" he asked smiling. "Yes I love them you're so adorable" I said smiling. "Awe well so are you" he said smiling back. He put on one of his videos. We binge watched them for a while. I fell asleep on Mikey's chest.

Y/n was so adorable. When she said she wanted to watch my vlogs my heart melted. She's so cute when she sleeps. I wish she never got involved with Kyle.. I would've warned her if I knew. She deserves a lot better.

I woke up in Mikey's arms. "Morning princess" he said smiling. "Good morning" I said. I got up and went to the bathroom. I put my hair into a messy bun and walked out to the kitchen where Mikey was sitting. We sat at the table and had coffee together. I kept smelling Mikey's sweatshirt. He had this nice scent that I couldn't stop smelling. "Uh y/n" Mikey said. "Yeah" I asked. "Are you smelling my sweatshirt" he asked smiling. "Maybe" I said as I took another sniff. "You're so adorable" he said. I smiled to myself. "This hoodie is mine now too" I said smiling. "Fine" he said. Once we finished our coffee I helped Mikey think of video ideas. Later on we went out and filmed. When we were done Mikey dropped me off at my house. I packed an overnight bag and went back to Mikey's. I still had his hoodie on. I helped Mikey edit and upload his video. "Thank you so much" Mikey said smiling. "I appreciate it" he said. "No problem" I said smiling back. Me and Mikey were silent for a few moments. I knew I had deep feelings for Mikey at this point. I stared at his lips as he gazed into my eyes. He leaned in and kissed me. "I'm uh.. s.. sorry" he said stuttering. I blushed. "No it's okay" I said. I put my hand on his cheek and kissed him again. "I like you" I said. "A lot" I said. "Me too" Mikey said. We smiled at each other. Kissing Mikey was different.. it felt so right. When I kissed Kyle it was just kind of different.. it didn't feel right. "Princess" Mikey said. "Yes" I asked. "Will you be my official girlfriend" he asked. "Of course Mikey" I said smiling. He hugged me tight. "I promise I'm gonna treat you right" he said. I smiled to myself. That night me and Mikey went on a date at Applebee's. After that we walked around seaside for a while. Mikey held my hand as we watched the sunset while walking the boardwalk. When the stars started to come out Mikey and I went back to my house. I brought him to my room. He cuddled with me while we watched Netflix. Mikey and I made a future together from there. We eventually got married & started a new life.
