3. Grocery Shopping

Ciara
It's Sunday and we going grocery shopping today. I'm not trying to eat fast food on the daily basis which is we both cook. I looked at the clock and it's 9am which the only time we sleeping late is on the weekend including Friday since I'm going to school tomorrow, chill for a while and then go to work.

I got up and went to my bathroom which is thank god Christina let me take a master bedroom so I won't have to go the bathroom across the hall from Christina's room. I went in the bathroom, turn on the shower, took my clothes off while I'm waiting on the water to warm up, got in and washed my body with Warm Vanilla Sugar shower gel.

When I'm done, I got out of the shower, dried off, brush my teeth and went to my room to put my clothes on. I lotion my body and put on something simply since we will be at grocery store for couple of hours.

I got out of my room and went downstairs and I saw Christina in her outfit eating jelly filled donuts form Dunkin Donuts.

"Hey CiCi have a donut" She said taking a sip of the orange juice. We continue talking until she brought up the dudes.
"When you going to get a man?" She said
"I told you countless times that I don't need a man to be happy." I said
"Come on Ciara, you ain't had no man in 3 years. Do you think you should give it another try." She said
"I don't know Chris, I ain't trying to get hurt again." I said
"I understand that but we at ATL now starting our new lives." She said putting her coat on.

I was fine being single 3 years ago and I am now. I understand that she don't want me to wait until I'm in my 40s to settle down but come on, I'm 19 will be 20 in May. Yes my birthday on May 16th. In case you didn't know, I lost my confidence about my weight for a while after Anthony got the girl pregnant but I gained it back thanks to my other best friend Sharun. Her and Jordyn the only girl I know that's stays at ATL
"You ready to go?" I asked
"Yeah let's go" She said

Christina

Hey everybody, my name is Christina White. I'm 19 years old and moved back to my hometown with my best friend Ciara. I was adopted when I was 2 years old because my mom was doing drugs and my dad is locked up for robbery and might get out soon after being in prison for 17 years due to good behavior.

So I was raised in Charlotte,NC with my adoptive sisters Jordyn which is she got everything switched over to Georgia before we moved here. The main reason why me and my best friend moved to Atlanta in the first place because I want to be close to my family expertly Jordyn even she not my biological sister but we still close.

I don't know why Ciara acted like all men are jackass because there good man around. She had an toxic relationship with Anthony and he cheated on her 3 times. I had a boyfriend when I was in senior but broke up because he going to college at Texas and it would be hard to see each other which is I understand but we still friends.

Since then, I been single for a year in the half and I'm fine with being single. Now we pulled up to Kroger to do some grocery shopping so we won't have to keep eating fast food restaurant everyday. I killed the engine and we got out. I made sure my door is locked before we walked in the store.

"You got the shopping list?" I asked
"Yeah let get the shopping started." She said grabbing a cart. I look at the list and we need some meat first so we went to the meat ailed.

2 hours later (Ciara)
We went to 2 stores to grocery shopping and we got a lot of food that it can last for a month. Now I'm at home putting meat and frozen stuffed in the freezer while Christina putting can goods up. I left one of the chicken breast  and a shrimp out because Im cooking some Alfredo and garlic bread for dinner tonight.
