The Box

First Meeting

     Shen Wei a top secret agent was meeting his twin brother in a karaoke bar for they have mission to accomplish. As they meet and drink, "Did the boss told you this will be my last mission?" Said Shen Wei to Yezun.

     "What? Why?!" Yezun was surprised.  "I'm just bored in this kind of life. I want to change to a simple and peaceful one where's there's no guns or enemies to fought. We're always changing names, house and places.
"I'm tired of it Yezun." As he lean his head on the table. Suddenly in the stage the emcee announce there's some one gonna sing. "What's that?!" Shen Wei ask. "Oh! That?! Anyone can sing on the stage and you would ware a mask so no one will know who you are. It's kinda gimmick of the bar. So if your out of tune no one can kill you!" As Yezun laugh.

     Moment later someone came at the stage a young tall man with a mask on his face. As he sing a song about not forgetting a love, Shen Wei was mezmerize by his beautiful voice as if his singing for him. Yezun notice it and smirk, "My Gege had fallen in love with that guy quickly. The guy suddenly look his way and almost lost his tune when he notice Shen Wei looking at him intensely. As he blushed and turned his face back at the audience making Shen Wei miss his gaze upon him. As the song stop and the audience clapped. He was about to go back to the back stage.

     One of a drunk guy grip his arms making the singer jolt in surprised. "Would you join us in our table?!" Said the guy. Shen Wei stand up and was about to stop the guy. As Yezun stop him. "We can't help him! Gege! It will blow our cover." Yezun whispered to him. As the mask guy looking at his way wanting  help.  Shen Wei look the other way and sit again. And he clentch his fist. The emcee is the one that help the mask man by pulling the drunk man off him. But one of the hand of the drunk man toss his mask aside revealing his face to Shen Wei. As the guy cover his face with his hand and ran quickly toward the backstage. Shen Wei want to run after him. But his Didi grip his arms and shake his head.

      Yunlan ran at the back stage tailing after him is best friend Da quing. "What happened?! Why your mask is off?!" He ask. Yunlan ignored his question as he ride his bike with Da quing on his back and speed away.

      Shen Wei suddenly remove his Didi's hand and run at the back stage. But the mask guy is gone.

     Next day, Yunlan woke up grumbling for he have to work early on a pizza shop. His a delivery  guy who work at a certain pizza shop.
While Da quing is working there also, "Hey! Yunlan did you get a good glimpse on that guy you like?" Yunlan suddenly shut him up with his hands. "Don't ever tell anyone what happened! If not for that drunk guy but I'm also a little disappointed in him. He didn't even help me a bit!" He said. "Oh! Sorry to hear that, hey one of our friend here is having his birthday tonight and we're go drinking! Wanna come with me?!" As Da quing wink. "Why not I have nothing to do anyway!" As they made a fist pump on their hand. "So see you tonight!" Da quing said.

     As that night came they went to a disco pub. While having a fun time dancing and drinking. Yunlan never thought he will bump into someone while dancing the stranger at the karaoke bar. Whose sitting next to the dance floor. As he raise a cup to him. That almost made Yunlan gone his way, but he was shocked when the stranger companion came a beautiful woman. As he kiss the stranger infront of him. Making him turned back to dance floor and walk back in the middle of dancing people. "What happened?" Da quing ask. "Nothing!" Said Yunlan. As Shen Wei look back the mask guy is gone again. While his partner lead him to the dance floor he didn't anticipate he will bump into his mask guy. As his mask guy snub him when he saw him with a woman. Shen Wei can't help to chuckled. But he didn't know that he hurt Yunlan that day. "Why all the people he will see that guy again!" As he tried getting out of the club with Da quing on his tail again. While Shen Wei gathering his courage to talk to him. As he turned he was gone again.

      When Yunlan walk back to the house with Da quing on his side. He saw a small temple near their home. As he remembered one of his co-worker  said you could wish something at a certain deity. And it will grant you that wish. "Don't tell me we're going there?! It look spooky in the night! Why not tomorrow?" Said Da quing. But Yunlan ignored his words as he went into the temple. The deity there is the god of luck. But the temple is almost rusty, with cobwebs and dust all over the place. "Are you sure this is safe Yunlan?" Ask Da quing. "There's nothing wrong in trying right?!" He said. As Yunlan saw the statue of the deity he close his eyes and prayed to him.

     While Shen Wei is dancing in the dance floor he saw his target as he left his date dancing. And followed his target. Who went in  an alley  where he cornered him. He suddenly shot the target with a silencer gun. But unfortunately for him. The guy is with a group. As they saw what happened they ran after Shen Wei. When one of the guy caught him. He evade his punch while kicking him on the stomach. One of the men have a gun. As he shot Shen Wei. He fell in the water near the club. The men tried to search for him but to no avail as they thought Shen Wei died and the current  took him away toward  the sea.

      When Yunlan finished his praying the rain suddenly pour in as Yunlan and Da quing ran for cover near a tree. Shen Wei on the other hand had swim toward the shore. As he saw a house near it and a large carton box laid on the floor. He made the box stand again as he went in the box for cover to rest for a bit. He never notice his wounded by the gun. As he black out in the box.

     Yunlan on the other hand bid farewell to Da quing as his house is just next to him. But he was surprised as a big box was near in his door step. "Is Da quing joking me again?" He said. But the rain is still pouring in, making Yunlan pulled the heavy box inside his home. As he open the box and was surprised as he saw was in it.
