A scratching sound above my head lured me awake. I opened my eyes to see a strange black voided opening above me. Confused I sat up and got off of my bed never taking my eyes off of the seemingly endless hole. hearing a bang I slowly walk towards my door, I heard a loud bang and some cursing before I felt my back hit my door I scrambled for the doorknob as I saw a spindley black arm reaching out followed by an equally spindley blood red body , a demon I realized with horror as he plopped down on my bed as my hand brushed against the doorknob, but it was useless, my hands had turned to numb jelly as the demon grabbed my arm dragging me to the portal that was slowly getting dimmer and dimmer by the second his deep black eyes barring a hole in my already questionable soul "what do you want" I stuttered out as he dragged me up on my bed his arm reaching into the portal. We started descending up into the dimming void as he mumbled " you my dear girl , are going to help me settle a bet"
