Chapter 10

August POV

Time;1:30 in da morning

"Man, I'm sleepy as fuck."I mumble.

I'm in the studio records some stuff fa some money.

"We'll you want, Kandi, to get chu."Dj asked.

"Yeah, ima call ha you can go home or what ever you supposed to be doing after this."I say half sleep.

We dap, and then he starts to leave.

I call Kandi.

Phone conversation:

Me:hey Kandi

Kandi:hey boo

Me:why you up so early

Kandi:I should be asking yo churn da same thang (screaming In the background)

Me:whatchall doing

Kandi:watchin a scary movie, Mel called he supposed to be bringing yo nieces over hea

Me:fa real, what dat mean?

Kandi:no sex fa a week

Me:what tf

Kandi:hey you shulda never asked

Me:mayne, anyway Shawty come get me

Kandi:nigga What, was wrong witcho car

Me:come on just come get me

Kandi:answer tha question

Me:ion feel like driving

Kandi:ion feel like driving eitha

me:come baby stop playin

Kandi:all lis talking you could be driving

Me:bye mayne see ya when I get home, mayne*with attitude*

Phone conversation over.

I leave, lock up, and get in my car.

It would've been easier if she just came and got me.

I get home and get out the car. I go inside and the tv hella

Loud. got me scared in my own house playing dat scary music when somebody bout ta die

First I take a shower, eat and then great everyone.

"Turn da tv down. y'all needa go to sleep."I say.

"Why."All of them asked. "Because we gotta get a lotta sleep in. My nieces are hype."I explain turning the tv off.

No ones POV

Later that day

Time:1:47 in da evening

Everyone is still sleeping in the peaceful house.

Kandi gets up and wakes the children up.

She baths them and puts there clothes on.

Kandi sets them all in front the tv, to watch cartoons.

Then she goes and takes a shower, and also puts on clothes.

Meanwhile back in New Orleans, Melvin and his daughters are on they way to Atlanta.

Melvin POV

"Daddy."Mya asked. "huh, Mya."I asked.

"Does uncle August have a girlfriend."

"Yes why."

"Will his girlfriend like me."

"Ion know, Mya."

"Daddy I'm hungry."Chay says.

"Whatchu wanna eat?"

"I want sundae."

I pulled up at McDonalds, and got in the drive thru lane.

"Three Sundae's and two mcFlurry."i order.

"Is that all for you."The lady says.

"Yeah."i mumble.

"Drive up to the first window."

So I go up some and the lady at the window went crazy.

"OMG omg. Your August alsina."She says.

"No, I'm his brother anyway whea my food at."

"But you look just like him."

"I'm his brother. Oh my gosh I get this err time I come out my house."

We finally got the food and now back on track to August house.

Kandi POV

"What if they don't like me."i asked frowning.

"Dey gone like you stop worrying."He says.

I walked into the kitchen and checked on dinner.

Hmm. I wonder if Melvin Girlfriend coming.

I cooked enough for a lot of people. Sooo!

Mya POV (Melvin daughter)

We finally pull up to Uncle August house.

"Wipe yo mouth," Mom tells me, while handing me a napkin.

After I'm done we all get out and daddy rings the doorbell.

Some lady and three children open it and mommy and daddy hug her and great her.

She let us in.

"Oh uncle August."I yelled/singed.

"Don't be rude.speak."my mother told me.

"Hi, Mrs. Lady."I smile nervously.

"Hi you must be Mya."She says smiling and kneeling down to my level.

I nod, smile more and then we hug, and she stands up.

My and my sisters, Chay and Kay greet our cousins.

Kayla POV(August daughter)

"So where is my uncle."Chay asked, smiling.

"Where's my uncle."I asked also smiling.

"He's over there."Chay says(talking about melvin)

"He's over there."(talking bout August)

We both exchange and she runs to my daddy I run to hers.

"Hey Uncle Mel."I say as he picks me up.

"Hey Kayla, long time no see. You ion even call me no mo."Uncle Mel says acting all sad like.

"I'm sorry, I be busy."I smile and shrug.

"Hi Kayla."A woman said. I looked up as uncle Melvin put me down.

"Who are you."I asked nonchalantly.

"I'm Brandy."(maid dat up, cuz ion know ha real name) she says smiling.

"Okay, untie Brandy."I smile and we hug.

Then I go bout my biz, and watch cartoons in the living room.

With my cousins and sisters, while mommy and daddy talk to uncle and untie.
