*Two week time jump.*
The two teens had become inseparable, constantly by each other's side. The whole school now knew about the couple and both Raven and Nolan's popularity was through the roof. Everyone wanted to be friends with the new power couple. They hung out at the pier every night and admittedly we're having amazing sex constantly. They couldn't keep their hands off of each other. They were in the honey moon phase. Nolan decided he wanted her to meet his family. It was a big step for him, but he was ready. The two were at a park, Nolan was leaning against a tree, smoking. Raven was laying on stomach next to Nolan. She was reading a book and sipping on a can of Coke. Nolan watched her, smiling. She was clearly completely entranced in her book. I'm so lucky.
"Hey Raven, I've been meaning to talk to you about something." Nolan said, taking another drag off his cigarette. He used to feel bad about smoking around Raven, but she insisted it was okay.
Raven marked the page she was on and closed her book, turning her attention to Nolan. "What's up?"
"My family is having this get together thing, I don't know, it's going to be really lame, but, uh, I was wondering if you wanted to come. If you don't want to it's okay." He was nervous about asking her to make such a big step.
Raven looked at the flustered boy and smirked, "Nolan Rayburn, Id be honored. Thank you for asking me." She sat up and kissed him, then leaned against the tree next to him.
Nolan smiled and put his hand on her thigh, moving closer to the girl. Raven looked at the cigarette Nolan was holding. "Hey can I have one?" She motioned towards the pack of Marlboro Reds next to him.
Nolan was reluctant, he didn't want to be the reason she got addicted, "are you sure? Their bad for you." He laughed.
"Nolan, I used to smoke like all the time but I quit because I was to broke to keep buying them." Raven admitted, laughing. Nolan was surprise and weirdly turned on by the thought of her smoking. Why do I think that's hot? Whatever it doesn't matter why it's hot. It's just hot.
Nolan handed her a cigarette and lit it for her, she took a long drag and leaned her head against the tree behind her, blowing out the smoke. She sighed, "Good shit. I forgot how relaxing this was."Nolan laughed, watching his girlfriend smoke. I love life. I love Raven. I should probably tell her that soon.

The day of the family dinner had come and Raven was nervous. She wanted to make a good impression. She loved him and she didn't want to screw anything up. Nolan's truck appeared in her driveway and Raven slipped out of the back door before her step father could realize she was gone. Raven had asked Nolan what she should wear a few days prior and he told her that a dress would be fine. Raven had chosen to wear her favorite burgundy dress, part of her wanting to impress Nolan.
She made her way to his truck and opened to door, only to find Nolan staring at her. Raven blushed and got in. Nolan couldn't stop looking at the girl, "Raven you look stunning."
Raven, still blushing, nudged his shoulder. "No I don't, just drive you dork." She teased, giggling. Nolan shook his head, smiling. She's perfect.

The two teens sat in Nolan's truck in his driveway. Raven was very nervous, "Their gonna hate me and I'm gonna say something stupid." Raven rambled, running a hand through her hair. God she's cute when she's nervous.
"Raven you are gonna do great, literally everyone who meets you loves you." Nolan said, squeezing her hand.
Raven nodded, "Okay, lets do this."
Nolan smirked, "Alright, beautiful." The two kissed and then got out of his truck. They walked up to the front door and Raven was gripping Nolan's hand, clearly still nervous. Nolan smiled, feeling her hand grip his. He opened the front door and the teens were met with a crowded house full of Nolan's family and family friends. They stepped inside and slipped into the kitchen.
Thomas walked up behind Nolan and slapped his back, "Nolan, Sarah wanted to me to tell you she was in the yard..." He cut his sentence off, noticing Raven. "And this must be Raven, Nolan has told me a lot about you! I'm Thomas, Nolan's uncle." He said, smiling.
Raven extended her hand out towards the man, "Nice to meet you, Thomas." She said confidently. Thomas has a look of surprise on his face and returned the handshake, "She's got a good, firm handshake. I approve!" He laughed. This is going better than I expected. Raven looks comfortable and Thomas is being appropriate. This is great.
Thomas said his goodbyes and as he walked away he faced Nolan and made a thumbs up sign with his hand and mouthed the words 'she's beautiful.' Nolan shook his head and smiled, glad Raven hadn't seen that interaction.
"Well that went well!" Raven said, moving some of Nolan's hair out of his face. How is it that I still get tingles every time she gets close to me.
"You did amazing, you should meet Sarah next." Nolan said, grabbing her hand gently and leading her to the back porch. Nolan opened the door and looked out into the yard. Sarah was playing around with a few kids in the grass.
"Sarah!" He called out, strangely excited for her to meet Raven. Sarah looked over and a huge smile spread across her face. She ran over, staring at the girl next to her cousin.
"Is this Raven? Oh my god you are so freaking stunning why the hell would you go out with a dork like Nolan? Holy shit we have so much to talk about!" She squealed, practice jumping in excitement.
Raven laughed, surprised by the girls forwardness. "Um, yeah I'm Raven, you must be Sarah, it's really nice to meet you! This so-called dork has told me a lot about you!" She laughed, matching Sarah's level of energy.
"Literally we need to chat, sister. Nolan, get lost." Sarah said, gesturing for Nolan to let the two girls be. Nolan looked at Raven and she nodded smiling. He shook his head and laughed, "Fine, but don't be too long weirdos." He made his way inside, grabbing a beer. Well everyone already seems to love her, I'm not surprised. She's amazing.

It had been around 20 minutes since Nolan had left Raven and Sarah alone and Nolan was getting nervous. He didn't want Sarah telling Raven anything too embarrassing about him. He also didn't want her talking about his dad. Raven still didn't know how messed up Nolan's childhood had been, and he wanted to keep it that way. He looked up to find Raven and Sarah walking towards him.
"Hey, you two, have fun?" He said, attempting to sound cool about the situation.
Raven smiled at the boy, "Yeah she told me sooo many embarrassing stories about you." She said, standing near Nolan.
Nolan groaned and wrapped his arm around her waist, "I hope you didn't scare her away." He laughed, looking at Sarah.
Sarah put up her hands in protest, "Hey, she's still here isn't she? Anyways, Raven, you are amazing and I'm so glad Nolan has found you. I hope you come over again soon!" The couple and Sarah said their goodbyes and Sarah was off.
Nolan looked down at the girl he loved, "You're amazing, you know that, right?"
Raven looked up and smiled, "You're one smooth talker, Nolan Rayburn." Nolan smirked and pulled her into a hug.

It was getting late so Raven said her goodbyes to Nolan's family. Everyone had been telling Nolan how great she was and how pretty she was all night.
The two walked out to Nolan's truck.Nolan felt like he needed to finally tell Raven that he loved her. "Hey, Raven. Wanna make a quick stop before you have to go home?" The girl nodded and they were off.
