Blake opened the van door and sat Nora in the back "Before we go see your mommy would like to see the lake?" Blake asked. "Sure," Nora said giving him an innocent smile. After Blake got in the car he drove to the docks to meet Grayson, there was very silence, but Blake enjoyed the company of Nora. As he was driving he looked into the mirror at her and smiled. But there was something different about his smile, it wasn't an evil grin or smirk, but it was actually a smile filled with joy. "How old are you Nora?" he asked. "I'm five," Nora responded. "Do you know what happened to your father?" Blake asked. "I don't have a daddy," she responded. After her responses, he forced his eyes on the road, "One day you will have a father," Blake said as he glanced back at her.
A couple of minutes later Blake arrived at the docks where Grayson was waiting for him. Blake put the van in park "Wait right here ok sweetie," Blake said as he unbuckled his seatbelt and got out the van. As soon as he stepped out the van Grayson walked up to him. "Where's the girl?" he asked. "She is the van," Blake said. "You usually don't have young girls I'm very curious," Grayson said. "I just need you to take her she the perfect age for you," Blake said. "What's going on Blake?" Grayson asked. "I have her mother and she doesn't have a father," Blake said. "Well then," Grayson said. "But don't treat her like the others," Blake said. "Why not?" Grayson asked. "Because I want her to be in school and have a good life," Blake said. "What makes her so different than the other girls you bring me," Grayson said. "She reminds me of my sister before she died," Blake said. "Oh, sweet and young Amy, her skin was a rich white and those fair lips" before Grayson could finish his sentence Blake cut him off. "You better watch it that's my sister," Blake said as he stared at him. Grayson laughed at Blake and told him showing emotion for someone is a sign of weakness. "Caring for these ungrateful creatures is pathetic, I thought I taught you better," Grayson said as he walked over to him.
"Someone of them is worth it," Blake said. "How old were you when I found you on the streets and molded you to the man you are today?" Grayson asked. "It's doesn't matter how old I was," Blake said. "Your mother was trash, she left you to fend for yourself and your little sister who died because of your mother," Grayson said. "My mother is dead now and when she left me that part of me that loved her left with her," Blake said. "What about your father," Grayson said he walked around Blake. "Don't you dare talk about my father," Blake said. "The man was spineless, a coward, the man was practically a woman himself," Grayson said. "This little girl doesn't have a father just like me and I won't let her become like me or those women I have, she will be better, I will make sure of it," Blake said as he turned around and walked toward his van. "My son is becoming a woman!" Grayson shouted.Blake suddenly stopped "I'm not your son," Blake said as he resumed walking to his van. Blake opened the door and got into the van "Who was that man?" Nora asked. "Someone you should stay away from," Blake said as he put the car in reverse. When they got on the road Nora asked him where they were going. "A safe place for Amy," Blake said. When he looked in the mirror he saw his sister in the back, He smiled and looked back at the road.
After a couple of hours riding around Blake pulled up to an apartment building. "It's time to see your mommy," Blake said as he looked into the mirror. Blake got out the van and slides the van door opened "Come on sweetie," Blake said as he grabbed her hand. Blake walked her upstairs to apartment six then he knocked on the door. "Coming," someone said on the other side of the door. When the person opened the door, they were surprised to see Blake standing outside. "Oh, my lord is that you Blake?" the guy asked. "Yes its look I need a favor," Blake said. "Anything for you Blake," the guy said. "I need you to take this little girl and gave her a home," Blake stated. The guy looked down at Nora and smiled at her "I would be delighted to keep this sweet girl," the guy said as he bends down. "Thank you," Blake said.
"What's your name sweet face?" the guy asked. "My name is Nora," she said. "That's a gorgeous name and my name is Justin," he said as he stood back up. "Thanks Justin, "Blake said. "You're welcome and Michael is going to be so happy," Justin said. "Mister where's my mommy?" Nora asked as she looked up at Blake. "Mommy?" Justin said with a concerned look on his face. "Your mommy told me to tell you that she wants you to spend a couple of days here until she comes back," Blake said. "When will she be back?" Nora asked. "She didn't say," Blake said. "I have some brownies on the table would you like one?" Justin asked. "Yes please," Nora replied. "Come on in and I'll show you," Justin said. When Nora went inside Justin stepped outside and closed the door behind him. "Blake where's her mother?" Justin asked. "I have her," he responded. "Blake you took that little girl's mother," Justin whispered. "Yes, I did and I'm not giving her back," Blake said. "When are you going to stop this Blake huh?"Justin asked. Blake turned his back to Justin and walked downstairs "Don't you turn your back to me answer me," Justin shouted. Blake stopped in his tracks
