The next morning, Alfred woke up and sighed. He sat up and buried his face into his hands as a thought crossed his mind which made him grit his teeth together. Yep, there was a world meeting today, and luckily he got up early again. Alfred checked his phone which read the time '8:00am'. He sighed as the same tight feeling appeared in his chest like last night. The American shrugged it off which was pretty hard, and he went to get changed. A while later, Alfred huffed and began to head to the meeting, looking sad again which worried some of the nations that passed him on the way inside.

Soon enough Alfred was sat in the meeting and found himself glancing at Arthur again. He felt horrible enough around the countries but it wouldn't hurt to try with Arthur again, right?. Soon, when everyone was discussing plans, Alfred shown his wide heroic grin once again, and finally. He made his way over to the blonde Brit, which Arthur didn't look too pleased with this, though he felt very guilty towards the male who calls himself the 'hero'. Alfred's movements earned him a slap which caused him to freeze in shock, a faint red mark slowly appeared on his right cheek. Other nations turned to see what was happening. Alfred felt both embarrassed and rejected. The next thing he knew he was pushing through the crowd and out of the door. He slid down the wall in a private room and he just stared at the ground. The saddening thoughts came flooding back through his head.

Alfred rubbed his eyes as large, hot tears streamed down his cheeks. Of course he didn't want the other nations to see him cry. They'd see him as weak, they would laugh at him, they would make him feel more worthless. He gripped onto his shirt, near his chest as tear droplets splashed silently onto the cold floor.
