A Tall Man

The two children had been thrown into a cage for no reason other than they had calmed the poor caged beast. "Asayo please calm down!" Gon said trying to get the other to stop attacking the bars angrily. "I can't Gon!!! They think it's okay to take these poor creatures and put them in cages!!! Then they have the bright idea to lock us up to!!!" The girl growled throwing a kick at the cage. The boy just sighed resting a hand on his companions shoulder. At his touch she seemed to calm down "Sorry Gon..." Asayo muttered as she sat down with a small sigh. Her ears perked up as she heard a door slide open. Gon looked out of the cage and ran up to the bar shaking them. "Excuse me sir!" he said looking at the tall lanky man who had walked in. He was in a suit and looked quite agitated when the energetic boy called him 'sir'. He turned toward us with a sigh " what do you two doing in there" he asks sounding more bored than concerned. "Uh excuse me sir but could you get us out of here?" Gon asked in his usual cute and polite manner. The mans face was red enough to seem as if he might explode at any second. "stop calling me sir!! I'm not that much older than the two of you!!!" He sounded like he was struggling to keep his voice steady and calm. Asayo was struggling to keep in her laughter as the two males talked to each other. Soon after the tall man agreed to let them out. "You guys better leave me alone now!" He mumbled as the cage door swung open with a slight 'creak'. The two children rushed out of the cage tripping over each other in the process. "Thanks sir we owe ya one!" Asayo said taking the key ring out of the lanky mans grasp. She rushed over to the fox bears cage releasing it with a small smile. After they had released the bear it ran out of the tent causing a lot of commotion as the children ran out after it along with the man. As they ran Gon and Asayo a like had a smile plastered onto their faces. With only one thing on there minds "Onto the hunter exams!!!"
