Frustrated (Changlix)

I can't stop staring. Why can't I stop staring. Omg, he's gonna see.

Lee Felix is the epitome of awkward, especially around his 2 year love interest. Scratch that, it was a mild crush before, but very recently did Felix finally begin to accept it as love. What his crush managed to do to Felix, was wondrous and even the poor guy himself had no clue. But would it ever stop him from pursuing his dreams? I think not.

"Jesus Felix, like what do you want me to do?! I really can't help you, especially after offering to talk to them, but you always say no anyways." Exclaimed Hyunjin in frustration. Felix's two best friends were well aware of the dilemma Felix was in, but despite their efforts, Felix would still shy away.

"Um I dunno, let's just hope we magically meet online and then become best friends as strangers, and then when we meet in real life, they'll see the real me and like me for who I am." Felix pouted and could only conjure the most far fetched scenarios.

"Dude, that only happens in fanfictions" commented Jisung, with cheesecake in his mouth. "Look at me, I managed to befriend Minho, and look at our progress."

"Didn't Minho friendzone you like 4 times? Doesn't he also have a girlfriend??" Hyunjin just couldn't contain himself. Jising chucked his milk at Hyunjin, and hit him on the arm. Felix's mind once again wandered to the thought of the very Seo Changbin. He did not know how it happened, but seeing someone as cool and edgy and Changbin, made Felix feel things he had never experienced around any other girls. At first he panicked, thinking there was something wrong with him, and kept this dirty secret of his for a while, until he burst and alas this piece of information was soon discovered by his friends Jisung and Hyunjin. Of course, both friends were extremely supportive but what bugged them was that Felix never made any effort to get to know Changbin on a personal level.

"I'll just um... wait till fate brings us together" Felix sighs dreamily but sadly.

"whatever you say bro, and screw you Jisung" Hyunjin threw the milk back just as hard.

Time Skip To Whenever

Felix was sitting alone in the court yard, with his music sheets laid out and earphones plugged in his ears, completely focused on the task at hand. He was bopping to a twice song and memorized all the hand movements perfectly. Ah, music. Another main reason Felix felt greatly attracted to Changbin, was his love of music and talent. Besides maybe Jisung, he had never seen anyone so passionate or appreciative about music. It really touched his heart. Again, his thoughts seemed to always trail back to Changbin. Oh how helpless he felt in the eyes of love. How desperately Felix wished to be close to Changbin, even as friends. It would mean to world to him to even just sit within close proximity to him.

As Felix was majorly distracted by the thought of someone and the song playing, he failed to notice soft footsteps approaching him from behind. Not until, he was shook out of his dreamland by the contact made with his shoulder and the person's finger. He pulled his earphones out, due to courtesy, and turned around to face the person.

Felix felt his throat close up, and his heart skipping a few beats, not to mention the undeniable blush creeping it's way onto his freckled face. The mysterious stranger was no other than the dark Seo Changbin.

"Hey" A cute smile graced Changbin's mouth and Felix felt his own mouth getting dry. "I hope you don't mind if I join you here because I wanted a bit of peace and quiet when working on my assignment." Oh he was so much better looking up close, thought Felix.

"Oh-yea o-of course, sure." Felix stammered and patted the place next to him. Changbin gladly sat next to him and gave him another ghost of a smile, then proceeded to plug his own earphones in. Changbin was soon indulged with his work the way Felix was infatuated with him. Felix didn't dare make eye contact because that would give him a meltdown, so he played it safe and tried to ignore the other's presence. Although, how could you forget someone in a moment when you thought about them all the time. It just didn't work that way.

Felix soon enough got back to his own work, but a small part of his mind was still lingering on the thought of Changbin. Soon enough, time had flown by, and Felix got minimal work done while Changbin pretty much wrapped up his. They both stood up looking at the darkening sky filling itself with clouds. It was probably going to rain and Felix had no one to take him because Jisung and Hyunjin already left. He thought he would walk home but he didn't want to end up wet and cold.

"Great" he thought. "Just what I needed on a day like this" Felix muttered under his breath. Changbin's eyebrows raised and glanced over to Felix.

"Hey man, you need a ride? Cause I'm fine with taking you. My car's in the parking lot." He offered mostly because he felt bad and would feel even worse knowing that he might not have any other mode of transportation besides good ol' walking. Felix tensed up, and as much as he'd love to join him, he felt embarrassed and didn't want to be a burden. He hesitated and Changbin sensed this.

"Look, I really don't mind" This time he softly smiled and Felix reluctantly nodded. He followed his crush all the way to the parking lot and saw him getting into a shiny black Mercedes. Black, of course. Binnie likes black. Felix smiled to himself and got in the passenger seat. They both strapped themselves in and Changbin pulled out of the spot smoothly. His hands on the wheel, and his eyes focused on the road, no way would he pay notice to Felix's wandering eyes. Suddenly a thought struck Felix.

"Oh hey aren't you going to ask me where I live?" He asks while Changbin turns to park his car alongside a small cafe. He doesn't answer and motion Felix to get out. They both get out and walk into the cafe with a very confused Felix.

"Go find us seats alright, I'll be back in a sec."

Felix wanders around, looking at couples sharing a drink, some college students drowning themselves in caffeine while working on laptops, and all the sorts. He found two seats around a round table right by the window, bearing the sight of the wet pavement and the constant rain. He sits down and literally can't believe he's at a coffee shop with Changbin. The thought of it makes his heart melt. He turns to see Changbin approaching the table with two caramel machiato's in his small hands.
