Jack Dylan Grazer has just moved from Texas to La California after being adopted for 2 years. His father abusing him and mother putting him on adopted herself. Jack's unadoptaed brother Wyatt brought Jack to meet his friends Jaeden, who he has a crush on, and Finn who jack happens to fall in love with. Jack got Muffin, his new dog, from Finn his new boyfriend. Then in their relationship they found Ellie, Jack's ex girlfriend who he hates, Finn happens to believe what she said and got mad but upset too.
Millie agreeded to their plan to get ride of Ellie. Muffin then goes missing and when Jaeden, Wyatt, Millie, Finn and Jack looks for her Jack gets shot in the leg multiple times and a shot of the chest.
During this time Jack's mom has been going to some interviews. But really for to adopt Gia. Gia is against gays and tried to break up Jaeden and Wyatt and Finn and Jack. Gia happens to get on Finn nerve and make Fack break up.
Finn didn't mean he was having enough of their relationship but enough of Gia but Jack took it the wrong way and Gia's plane worked. After Jack yelled at her she realized she was wrong she should have been out of their relationship. Finn wants to get back together but can't hear Jack's reply.
