After we figured out the car situation (May and I rode with Mrs Dabbs and Mrs Tyler, and Mr Tyler followed us in the other car) and I had May in her car seat (it's hard to get the buckle) I was actually getting bored. We had been driving for like an hour when Mrs Tyler said "Oh look girls there it is!" I stared out the window at the HUGE house. May nudged me "Gracie, is that a castle?" I just kept staring. It was a freaking mansion, it had to have at least four floors. Even Mrs Dabbs looked surprised as she stopped the car, the Tyler's house was bigger than my hometown. "Well why don't y'all come in?" said Mrs Tyler oblivious to our staring. We all started walking towards the house in what seemed like slow motion. The mansion had three different chimneys, three! "Gracie?" " May whispered "Are we going to live here?" I looked down at her but Mrs Tyler apparently heard cause she answered. "Sweetie do you want to live here?" May looked up at her eyes wide and innocent and nodded. "Then you can stay here as long as you want princess." Mrs Tyler held out her hand to May who took it as we entered the house. As we tour the house Mrs Dabbs would every now and then ask a question like. "Mrs Tyler will the girls be expected to do chores?" or "Is the water all filtered?" or "Mrs Tyler do you know how to help the girls with their homework?" (No,no,and yes.) May was also asking questions. I however, just stayed quiet. We stopped at a door and Mrs Tyler said "This will be your room girls!" and threw the door open. I'm kinda in the back so I can't really see, but Mrs Dabbs and May both stop talking. Great how bad is it? I slowly start to move to the front to see. Oh my gosh! This is not a room, it's a freakin' apartment! It's Ginormous! I speak up. "This is ours?" I thought it was a good question. I mean there was a mini kitchen included, and a small living area! "Of course dear, I'm sorry if it's a little bit small, but I thought you would want separate rooms." I look at Mrs Tyler in disbelief. "No,no this is perfect it's great." she smiles at me. "Oh well this is the last part of our tour I'm Afraid." She leads us through the house and to the front door and says to Mrs Dabbs, "I'll give y'all some privacy to say goodbye." then walks away. Mrs Dabbs looks at me and says. "Take care of yourself and your sister, Grace." I nod not trusting my voice. May looks at Mrs Dabbs and asks. "Are you going to leave? I thought you were gonna take care of us?" Mrs Dabbs looks down at her. "Sweetie, I am always gonna take care of you. If you ever need anything just call." She looks at me, "That goes for you to Grace." then she quickly pulls us in a hug, and then she's gone.
