Everyone gasps. No one says anything and all you can hear is the heater. The teacher goes on, "this is meant for guys and girls and the best part is that you will be able to work with one other person that you DONT know. Another gasp is heard. Some people's jaws drop while other are whispering. Me and Sandy look at each other confused. what does she mean by someone that you don't know? Is she going to pair us with another person? I hope I'm not partners with any of those popular girls who are just going to make fun of me. The teacher goes to her desk and gets a sheet of paper that has some writing on it. "Dawson will be partners with George" I hear a couple of groans when she was calling out all the people in our class. Finally, I hear my name I'm nervous. "Sierra will be partners with VICTORIA".
