"My name?" I stared into his brown beautiful eyes. "Thomas." i say entranced in his beauty. "yours?" I asked. He giggled a little. He's so cute. "My name is-"

"THOMAS!" i hear my younger sister yell as i shoot up from my bed. "WHAT??WHAT'S WRONG?!" i panic looking around my room to see my little sisters run out of my room, laughing. ugh. What time is it? i pick up my phone from beside the bed and turn it on. 5 am. great, just great. I get up from my bed too annoyed to go back to sleep. I walk to my desk in the corner of my room and sit down. I open my phone back up and unlock it to start scrolling through apps. i see i have a notification on Instagram. Weird, i never get those. (oof same dude) i see that someone followed me. 'AlexUsesPen'. huh, wonder who that could be. I ignore it and look over at my letter that i wrote for class. I grab it and decide to fold it in half puting it in my bag. I did mean what i said in the letter, i really do feel something drawing me towards this person. That makes me think about the dream i had. Who was that? i sigh brushing it off like always. I quickly get ready and leave wanting to make a stop before i go to school.

I pull into the parking lot of a small coffee shop that's barely keeping up and running. I'm mainly their only customer so it's a good place to think. The coffee is good too. i walk in making the bells ring at the door. "Tommy!" the owner, Usnavi, greets me. "Pan caliente, café con leche y azúcar?" He asks me with his foreign accent. "no caliente." i reply. i just wanted coffee because i'm tired and not at all hungry. I pay for my drink and sit down in a booth pulling out my phone. I was about to open an app when a worker came over and handed me my coffee. "With milk and sugar?" he says in a laid back tone. "yes, thank you Sunny!" i say taking my coffee and sip it a little. Perfect. I sit for about 15 minutes until deciding i should head to school. "See you later, Tommy!" i hear Usnavi yell as i walk out. "see you!" i say stepping out making the bells ring again. I hop in my car and take another sip of my coffee. I turn the key to my car and drive it the rest of the way to school. Once i get there i finish off my coffee and leave the cup in the car grabbing my bag and stepping out. I swing the bag over my shoulder and shut the door.

I walk into first period and see that there are only a few people there. Not that many people were gone. Just a little more than yesterday. I sit down and set my bag down.  After a couple minutes the teacher asks for the letters that was assigned to a few of us. I got up and handed mine to them. They started to pass them out after going through the stack carefully. I watched as half the class read over their letters. A couple people laughed while others looked tired. I got bored and pulled out my phone. I really wanted to talk to someone about that dream i had. It was so vivid, it felt so real. honestly i can't tell now from reality. Who can i talk to? James. perfect! He's always been good with advice.

Mac&Magenta: Jamey i gt tell you smthn

Jamey-Johns: What is it Thomas?

Mac&Magenta: i think i'm gay

Jamey-Johns: and i think you're drunk

Mac&Magenta: no really.

Jamey-Johns: well how do you know?

I told james about my dream and how i've been drawn to this person who i assume is male based on how they talk and write. He said to just wait for it. I guess he's right.

"Here." my teacher said handing me a paper. "oh! thank you." i said nervously. i don't know how long was thinking. I look at it, it's another letter:

                    Dear T.J,

I may know what you mean by 'something drawing me towards you'. Though I too cannot tell what it is. You seem experienced enough in writing when you say you're not. Why is that? Believe me when I say I have encountered many people of a much less standard that yourself. As of an ongoing relationship after the letter due date passes, I truly haven't hung out with anyone new since middle school. Don't take offence but, you don't seem the popular, "hey everyone look at me" type of person. You do seem to incite me though. In a way. I may change my mind about meeting up after I get to know you some, but as a regard to the whole phone number thing. I actually don't have a phone. I don't have a job, so I can't buy one myself and my parents...well they can't do much. The only way I can afford my living space is because of one teacher, Mr. Washington. I can own a laptop though, it's supposed to be used for school purposes, but I use it for personal things too. I await your reply.

Your obedient servant, A.H

I read over it and try to hide a smile.Well, i mean he's right, i'm not the most popular. I think i have an idea of who my ''writer buddy'' is but i think of a different way of finding out if i'm right. I know who i need to talk to. i step outside the class and go to the Bathroom™ (lmao@AlexxHamilton). I open a stall door and sit down trying to maintain breathing. just talk to him. He'll know what to do.

Mac&Magenta: Hey...i need a favor.

JhonLovesTurtles: Meet me at lunch.
