My Life

(Jennie pov)

I woke up to the sound of my annoying alarm clock. I quickly turned it off and started to stretch my arms. It was time for another long day at school. I got up and started to get ready for the day. I get my uniform and start to put it on.

I don't really understand why we need to wear uniforms but we do. I went downstairs to see my mother and father sitting at the dining room table. "Morning emmoa, moring appa," I say.

"Morning sweetie." My mom says before placing my breakfast in front of me. 

"Jennie, you will come with me this afternoon. I want to introduce you to some of my friends." my appa says.

"Yes, appa." I say even though I don't really wanna meet his "friends." I don't really have a choice. My father is strick and whatever he says goes.

"Also, I heard the report cards are coming out soon, I accept you to have only "A's" or "B's" anything less and well...you know what happens."

"I do." I wipe my mouth with a napkin and thank my mom for breakfast. I get on my shoes and leave for school. This is my life. My dad is a big-time business owner and my mom is a housewife. I have to do what my father says, I don't have any say in anything. School is the only place I have where I'm free to be myself and away from my dad. I walk into school and meet up with my friends Rose, Jimin, Taehyung, and Jin. "Guys it looks like I can't hang out today after school," I say to them. They let out sad sounds.

"Why not?!" Rose whines.

"My dad is having me meet more of his "friends"," I say.

"Damn it. Sorry, Jennie but your dad's kind of an asshole." Taehyung says making me giggle.

"I know. I wish I could just do whatever I wanted for one day without him getting on me but it doesn't look like that day is ever going to come." I say.

"I don't believe that Jennie. It's up to you to tell your dad off. He can't control your life forever." Jin hyung says.

"Thanks, hyung." Just the atmosphere change around them everyone was staring in awe at the popular kids. the group consisted of Namjoon, Jackson, Jungkook, Lisa, Yugyeom, Hoeseok and Yoongi.

(story pause! this is just some info about the cool kids: please read!)

Yoongi is the leader of the group, he was a bad boy, a rebel, and probably one of the sexiest men alive. No one dared to mess with him and everybody loved him, not just girls. 

Namjoon was Yoongi's best friend. He was smart and good looking but he'll still beat up if he needs too.

 Jackson was one of the funniest and handsome guys in the school plus he was a star athlete. 

Jungkook was a sexy and strong bad boy. He's on the track team and baseball team, he also just doesn't give two sh*ts about who hates him.

 Next is Lisa. she is the hottest and badest girl in school. She sometimes gets in trouble for the type off clothes she wears but she doesn't care.

 Yugyeom was Jungkook's childhood friend. He's a selfish prick and a total d*ck to everyone who isn't his friends or girlfriend Lisa. 

Hoseok was also Yoongi's childhood friend. He's like heaven and hell in on. he could be soft and then he could be hard. Oh and all of them, are rich kids, however, none of them go around showing off, except for Yugyeom who takes a helicopter to and from school every day.

Disclaimer: Irl I have nothing against Yugyeom, he is amazing and a really good dancer too.

The cool kids walk right past me and his friends. No one had seen it but Lisa wink at me making me blush. "Wow, there living their best lives, aren't they?" Jimin asks. Everyone just nodded in agreement. Suddenly the bell rang signaling it was time for the first calls of the day. Taehyung and Jimin both had math first while Rose, Jin, and I had Social Studies first. 

(After school)

I walk into my house and took off my shoes. "Jennie, your mother is going to help you get ready."My father says immediately. Wow, not even a how was your day or something?

"But, appa, I have homework." I lied.

"This is more important. You can do it when we get back. Now go and get ready."

"Yes, dad." I go upstairs and start to get ready with the help of my mom. After I showered my mom pick up a lose pink dress for me along with a small bag.

"Mom..." I said.

"I know. I wish I could do something but I can't. This is a tradition."

"I don't care. I don't want to be married off to some random guy. I don't want too."

"I know but...I wish I could do something but I can't. If I leave him, he will stop paying for my mother's hospital bill, plus we'll be homeless."

"He's cheating on you, you know that," I said. 

"Y-yes, but I...I just can't. I-I'm sorry....I let you down." I quickly turned around and saw my mom crying. I hugged her tightly.

"You did nothing wrong emmoa. It's that horrible man and I want you to know that."

"Thank you, dear, now go. Your father's waiting." I gave her a tight smile before taking up my bag and phone and leaving my room and going downstairs.

"I'm ready appa," I say.
