"Who are we going to see?" I ask.

"Someone very important to me," Lisa said. After 15 minutes of driving, we pulled up to a small old house. "C'mon." I get out of the car and followed Lisa. Lisa knocked on the door. A small old lady came to the door. She looks to be about in her mid 80's. "Hello, Ms.Lee!" Lisa said before hugging her.

"Hello, Lisa.  Come in dear." Both me and Lisa walk into the small house. Inside the house had a sweet but claiming smell of caramel and coffee. It was warm and it felt safe. "Sit down dear. It's been *cough* a while since I last saw you. *Cough* tell me...how's life been?"

"All good Ms.Lee. How have you been?"

"Not too good. I could always be better." The woman said laughing dryly. I could tell that these two cared about each other a lot. "Now, who is this pretty young lady?" Ms.Lee looks at me.

"I'm Kim Jennie, ma'ma," I said.

"Oh, you're the girl that my Lisa just won't stop talking about." she chuckled.

"Ms.Lee! Don't tell her that!" Lisa said. I couldn't help but giggle at her shyness.

"Jennie *cough* Lisa really loves you s-so if anything happens *cough, cough* never dought the fact that she loves you."

"Thank you, ma'am."

"No need to be formal, love."

"O-okay, Ms.Lee."

"*Cough* just make lots of babies." I couldn't help but blush hard when Ms.Lee said that.

"MS.LEE! Stop that!" Lisa shouted. Ms.Lee just chuckled before coughing again.

"Lisa dear?"

"Yes, Ms.Lee?" I answered.

"*Cough, cough* could you get me some water and my tablets from the kitchen?"

"Of course."

"T-*couch* thank you." I got up leaving Jennie with Ms.Lee. Ms.Lee has always been like a grandmother to me and in some cases, she's been more of a mother to me. That's why it's so important for her to meet Jennie. I hope she likes her, she seems like she likes her.

"*Cough,cough,cough*"

"Ms.Lee are you okay?" I ask.

"Y-yes *cough, cough*" Soon enough Ms.Lee coughs out blood onto a napkin.

"Oh, my g-" Ms.Lee quickly covers my mouth.

"Hush now." She said. "I don't want Lisa *cough, cough* t-to know." Ms.Lee takes her hand off my mouth. "L-listen, Lisa loves me, I know. Just like I know that when I die she'll be heartbroken, the last thing I want her t-to *cough, cough* t-to be is heartbroken...b-but, unfortunately...y-you can't stop time o-or death. *Cough, cough, cough* P-please st-stay by Lisa's side. She going to need you more t-than ever when *cough, cough* I-I'm gone."

"I will do everything to stay by her side," I said. "I promise."

"Hearing that m-makes me happy," Ms.Lee said. "Lisa...i-is...in g-good hands..." Ms.Lee's eyes suddenly close shut.

"Ms.Lee?" I touch her hand softly. Her hands were still warm but..."Ms.Lee?" Nothing. "LISA! COME HERE NOW!"

A funeral was held for Ms.Lee shortly after she died. Sadness not just overtook Lisa but it also took over Ms.Lee's kids. Ms.Lee's kids felt bad for not visiting their mother more. Jennie also cried for the now-dead Ms.Lee. Heartbreak took over her.

It was now after the funeral. I was driving since Lisa is too shaken up by Ms.Lee's death. I've never seen Lisa cry so hard before but...it makes sense. Ms.Lee was a BIG part of her life and made her into the kind and wonderful person that she is. Before me or anyone, Ms.Lee was the first to expect her as herself.  When we finally reach home Lisa went straight upstairs. I pulled out a small box that Ms.Lee had left for Lisa in her will from my purse. I walk upstairs to our, now shared bedroom. Lisa was laying there, crying. I walk over to her and laid beside her. "S-she wanted you to have this." Lisa looks at me. Her eyes were red as tears fell from her eyes. Lisa took the box and open it, pulling out a necklace.

I engulf Lisa into a tight and warm hug. "Sshhh, she's resting peacefully now." Lisa started to cry more and so did I.
