"Please come Sarah!" Joe begged me for the 1000th time. "Pete can't go and i'm desperate!!"
Joe had been given two tickets to see England vs Ireland for this years six nations by his friend Pete, who was extremely ill and couldn't make the game.
I looked my younger brother in the eyes. "Go on then," i smirked as I playfully punched him. Sitting through 80 minutes of rugby with Joe wasn't high on lists of things that I wanted to do, but however I did think about the amount of hot boys Twickenham stadium attracts, and how single I currently was.
"Awesome! We'll leave in 10 then?"
"Gotcha!" I replied, just enough time for me to get changed into a tight fitted tartan dress and my white Doctor Marten shoes. I brushed my wavy blonde hair and applied a few coats of mascara to my deep blue eyes.
"Sarah, this isn't your prom, we're going to watch rugby!!" Joe laughed as we walked towards my white KA.
"Shut up Joe" i replied, "at least I dont look like a tramp" i said, shoving him off of the driveway and into the road. He tried to shove me back, but i quickly jumped into the car, being 4 years older than him helps sometimes!
After a while, we arrived in Twickenham. Most of the roads were closed and we had a lot of trouble parking. I finally managed to find a space in a place called Whitton.
"Lovely," Joe began, "we're only about 3 miles from the actual stadium then!" his sarcasm kills me.
"You're lucky that youre even here joe, i have better things that I could be doing with my time" I responded.
We began our trek towards the stadium. We walked past lots of boys that looked about my age. I always get glances and looks from boys. Its very flattering, but I just wish they'd talk to me. Maybe the fact that Ive done a modelling campaign with hollister scares them off! Joking, but honestly, the fact that I'm a model should give me confidence, when actually, I find it quite hard to talk to boys.
as we arrived at the stadium, the man asked for our tickets. Joe got them out of his pockets amd immediately the mans face dropped.
"What are you doing here!?" the man asked us quietly. I began to panic, what did he mean? "The VIP entrance is over by the shop!" Wait, did I just hear the man correctly? VIP entrance?!! I envisaged Joe and I sitting at the top of the stadium with a crappy view, not in the VIP section!
The man showed us the way around to the VIP entrance. "You could have told me Joe!" I whispered, irritated with my brother.
"Trust me Sarah, im just as surprised as you are!" Joe replied.
We were whisked off to some 'Members bar' where we were surrounded with who I can only assume were rugby WAGs adn the players' families. Feeling a bit out of place, Joe and I decided to find our seats.
"Pitch this way" I read the sign above our heads. We followed it down a long corridor.
"Are you aure this is right?"Joe said as we turned another corner.
"pitch this way" i read. another sign. I was getting irritated, the pitch must have been close by now. I walked further forward, reading the ticket. "seat 4 row 1" Joe bent down to do his shoelace. Ignoring him, I kept reading the back of the ticket to see if there was a map of the stadium until.....
CRASH!!
"Oh I'm so sorry!" I exclaimed as I helped him up off of the floor. "I didnt mean to knock you ove-" I stopped talking. I had made eye contact with the most gorgeous man I had ever seen. My cheeks went a bright shade of red. We stood there for about three seconds, staring deeply into each others eyes, some sort of connection sparked between us. My while body tingled. We were still firmly holding each others' hands.
"Th- tha-" he struggled to get his words out. I wondered if he was feeling the same way as I did. Impossible. He was so super hot and well, Im so super not.
"That's okay!" he smiled with a cute Wigan-sounding accent.
I smiled back into his deep blue eyes, examining his defined jaw line. He was so damn hot. My eyes travelled further down his body, past his chin and down to his chest. My eyes burst open. That was the England rugby rose!
"Jesus Christ! You're Owen Farrell!!" Joe shouted as he bounded around the corner.
I knew it exactly when I heard it. Had I just had a moment with England rugby Fly Half Owen Farrell?!
