My name is Maxine...let me tell you a story of a boy who had his eyes gouged out by bullies but became a killer also...he may not remember me but I will tell you what had happened that day and what had happened after that incident...When I was about 16 years old, I had been living with my relatives in Slender forest but went to a regular ol' high school. I had my cousin Shiloh with me as we were around the same age really and both have something in common, our fathers are criminals. I met Jack Driscoll during sophomore year as we used to hang out to study in the library with Shiloh and our friends. We tend to get bullied a lot really but tend to brush it off but this time, it went too far...

Jack and I got a note from what it had looked like from one of our friends and was asking to meet us up at the lake in the forest where I live with my relatives. Once we had arrived that late afternoon, I felt something was off but before being ambushed. It was the heathers and some jocks as those girls would victimize anyone in the school and have them stay quiet from what they would do to them but I never expected that this would happen...right here...right now...Shiloh was with us the whole time and manage to fight some off as I managed to scream out to her.

"Get Uncle Viktor! and aunt Emily, Shiloh!"

"I'm on it!" Shiloh said as she managed to run off into the forest before anyone could grab her.

I couldn't look away as they forced my head to look at what those jocks and red heather were doing to Jack who screamed out in pain and in distress as he tried to struggle. Soon the screams became louder as I saw blood dripping from his eye sockets...his eyes were gouged out...

Soon in front of us was my uncle Viktor or known as the Slenderman as his tentacles grabbed a few while the heathers and a few jocks had fled away only to be caught by police officers. I guess Aunt Emily had called about people tress passing the property as me and jack were taken to the mansion and into Dr. smiley infirmary room, it wasn't too big just probably a 1/3rd bigger than a regular master bedroom.

"do you think he's going to be okay?" Shiloh asked softly to me.

I was unsure at the moment as they sat behind the closed curtains where behind it was Jack with bandages around his eyes and a few stitches from fighting off a few jocks when trying to protect me. I felt like it was my fault that this had happened. I should've known that those Heathers were behind the whole scheme of tricking us. i can just feel the guilt inside me from the incident and having him being involved in it.

The curtains reopened as Dr. Smiley stood there in front of us, the grim expression on his face made me feel that there was some bad news...and yet the worst is about to come...

"well? how's Jack, Dr. Smiley?" Shiloh asked him only to received a small sigh.

"not too well, i had to remove the remains of the gouged out eyes which means he won't be able to see anymore, in other words, he's blind now and will be relying on his other senses instead" Dr. Smiley spoke when reading off of his clipboard.

"but the bad news is that we'll have to alter his memory of what had happened, he would probably get revenge and kill them for sure"

"but will he remember me?..." i spoke softly to him as i felt a pang in my heart while fighting back tears.

"in order to keep him from remembering what truly happened and maybe traumatize him, we had to erase the memory of him ever knowing or meeting you, i'm sorry Maxine but it was for the best" Dr. Smiley sighed softly at me.

I felt tears falling from my face after hearing what happened, i got up and went to my room wiping my eyes and started packing up my stuff. I continued to pack until hearing a knock at my doorframe and seeing my aunt Emily standing there. She walked over and helped me pack.

"i just...want to get away from here for a while..." i spoke softly to her.

"shh i know and i understand after everything had happened" Emily said hugging me close and stroking my hair.
