Chapter One.

Elizabeth~

"Lizzy let's go we want to get out of here before the traffic gets bad!" I heard my mom scream from the garage, So I said one last goodbye to my room, grabbed the last box and headed out of the house. 

I got outside and put the last bit of my room into my cherry red 2014 Ford Raptor and went over to my mom. "I don't want to move. I have to many memories here.." she must of heard the sadness in my voice because she wrapped her arms around me and pulled me into a hug.

"I know honey but, with this new job we will be doing so much more better for ourselves." she stated while i stared at our 2 story house. My mom got a promotion but in order for her to get the new job we have to move states.

Although i am very happy for my mom i don't want to leave Arizona and move to California. Yes it is very nice there but Arizona is my home state and i never thought i would have to leave. 

I know i will be having a better life and stuff, but i don't want to have to make new friends. I am very happy with the friends i already have, especially Paige. Paige has been my best friend since we were both one years old. We grew up together and have been best friends for 17 years!

My felt my mom put her arm over my shoulder to admire the house one more time, "Liz i know you are not happy about leaving but just give it a chance." i heard her say to me. Maybe she was right, maybe a change will be good for me.

I gave her a small smile and she walked back over to green 2013 Chevy camero. My mom and I were loaded with money and even though it was cool not having to work and all i still have always wanted a job but my mom would never let me get one. She say's 'there's no point in you wasting your teenage life at work when we have money.' 

I said one last goodbye to my house, got in my truck, and followed my mom out of the driveway and onto the road. 

I was at the end of my street when i saw i got a text so as i stopped at the stop sign i opened it and read, 'Wow i can't believe you are just going to leave without saying bye first..'  after i read that i did an illegal U-Turn and started driving back to my old house my mother noticed and quickly followed me knowing exactly what i forgot.

The best thing about living in that house was my bestfriend live literally right next door to me. I am going to miss sneaking out at 12 am and meeting each other in the front yard to go to parties. Parties were kind of "our thing". 

I pulled into my old houses driveway and ran next door. Paige was waiting outside because she knew i'd come back. That bitch. Thats what i love about our friendship she knows exactly what i will do and i know exactly what she will do. 

I almost tackled Paige to ground, i squeezed her tight not wanting to let go. eventually she slapped me in the head because i was suffocating her. She rested her head on my shoulder and i could start to feel her cry so i immediatly started crying along with her. 

i grabbed her chin and lifted it up so she would look at me, "I promise as soon as we get settled into our new condo i will buy you a plane ticket so you can come visit for a week or two." she smiled but i still saw sadness in her eyes. The hardest thing ever for me to see is paige sad it kills me inside. 

"Im just scared you will make new friends and forget all about me.." She lowered her head and began to cry more.

"Paige no one will ever replace what we have i swear." I said and i pulled her into a tight hug. I saw my mother and Claire walking out of Paiges house. Claire is Paiges mom also my moms bestfriend. my mom and Claire have been friends for 31 years. They become friends when they were 4 years old and have remained close ever since. 

"Liz we have to go traffic is already starting up." I heard my mom say to me.

Instantly Paige let go of me put up one finger telling me to hold on and ran inside. She came back out moments later and gave me a pink gift bag, i opened it and saw a picture collage of me and paige and every picture was of us with at least one memory from every year weve known each other. 

I started crying and pulled paige into one last hug before i had to leave to my life in Oceanside, California. I let go and gave Claire a hug , "Take care of your mom babygirl i love you both some much." I heard Claire say and tears were falling from both of our faces.

As i walked back to my truck i wiped my tears away knowing i would see them soon. I got into the truck and started it. As i started down the driveway for the last time i waved bye to Paige and Claire and started my journey to start my life.
